Being 61 years old and buying thirty vehicles in my lifetime I had become accustomed to going to a car dealership and putting on my bad boy face and spending... 4 hours hammering out a deal with the dreaded car salesman. 7 years ago I moved to Palm coast Florida and developed a relationship with Tom Gibbs Chevrolet. After living in the north (Philadelphia Pa) and coming to Florida I found it so odd how everyone at Gibbs could be so nice, From the guy who washes your car to the owner of the company everyone is a sincere nice person. When our family decided to buy of first car in Florida we went to Gibbs and were lucky enough to stumble across Robert Kaufman (Kauffey). I loaded my guns and went into battle to make a deal and buy a car, Without a shot fired HAHA we had a deal with in 20 minutes, since that day we have bought all of our vehicles at Tom Gibbs Chevrolet with the assistance of Robert Kaufman our salesman. Kauffey is probably the nicest and sincere car salesman in the industry. He lets you run the deal and listens closely to what you are saying. At no point do you ever feel pressure in making the deal but you know once you sit down with this man that you WANT to buy a car from this dealership and especially this salesman. Our family has bought 3 cars from Tom Gibbs in 6 years and would never think of going anywhere else due to the family atmosphere of the dealership and the good person attitude of Kauffey our salesman. I would give this dealership and my salesman a 6 star approval rating if it were available. And as we all know, who is the HeartBeat of America, It's today's Chevrolet.

I recently purchased a used car from Tom Gibbs Chevrolet. I consider myself a capable, experienced, and cautious shopper. At first I was a bit nervous... about buying a car sight unseen, 2500 miles away, from a man and company I knew nothing about. I was very lucky that a salesman named Nelson happened to answer the morning I inquired about the car. After many calls and texts with Nelson, he helped me get the comfort level I needed to go ahead with the purchase. I highly recommend that anyone going to Tom Gibbs insist on talking to Nelson.

Well I went to the place to get a vehicle they were very nice and personable at first it seemed like he was trying he showed me this blue Trax SUV and... I totally fell in love with it and he said he would try to see if I can get approved for it but instead he decided that I couldn't afford it and he decided to finance the black one I like it don't get me wrong I do love it but he decided that I couldn't afford the one that's only a couple of thousand difference if they can Finance the black one and get the payments that I wanted why couldn't they do the blue one that's exactly like it only just a little bit of difference on financing if they can get me financed for the black one why couldn't they do the one I wanted. And on top of that I've had the vehicle for a week and then the screen goes out on it brand new vehicle and it has a defect on the radio the phone the OnStar it would just go out on its own over 5 to 10 times I called the dealership and the dealership told me to call the perk get a hold of the person that sold me the vehicle I got a hold of him and he said he call me tomorrow morning he called me the next day but he told me that he can't deal with that that I had to go and deal with the service department I'm like fine I'll deal with it he's like I'm not trying to push you off or anything and I go well yeah I go okay whatever and I hang up with him call the service department they were wonderful the service department is they help me they took me right in they found out what the problem is is a defect Factory defect and they're going to have the part in Monday and then have me to come in set up appointment for it to come in and have it fixed. While I was waiting in the lounge area the sales person that sold me the car came in and he apologized to me and said he was sorry I was about to accept it until he just kept on he was being rude very not nice and then he kept on going about oh I didn't want to get bothered with this and that because I had there's no rental cars and everything he he just kept on and I stopped him what he was saying I go one you blew me off he goes no I didn't and I don't know you blew me off you were rude to me and now you're getting me upset instead of arguing with you I looked at him and said please just walk away I had to take tell him two or three times to get him to get away from me and because I'm not going to argue with him I'm not going to fight I'm not going to say any bad words but I'm not putting up with people being rude to me and treating me like crap. And that sells person's name is Yusuf Abdullah. Yes that's the salesman well he's nice to you and until he gets what he wants that he sells you the vehicle he wants you to have not the vehicle that you want and then after that you're a bother and he blows you off. And I think it's really bad when he decides what vehicle that you can be financed on and wants not I asked him to please try to see if I can get financed for the blue one and he made sure to not do it and he said I would be able to afford the black one he didn't even try to see if I can afford the blue one if they can help me and work with me to get the black one why couldn't I have the blue one that I fell in love with don't get me wrong I do like the car I do like my car but I wanted the blue one. And if anybody goes to buy a car there the arrest of the sales people are nice but I wouldn't go to the salesperson ever again
I went in to buy a specific Colorado that was on the internet. The dealer price and the internet advertisement were the same and nothing was changed. I... purchased the truck within 4 hours. Aftercare has been tremendous and I recommend this dealership for its professional staff and customer service.
