STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! YOU have been warned! If i could leave this fraud of a dealership no stars i would! I inquired about a vehicle and they told me they had it. I went to inspect it and had run the numbers and had a buyers sheet and was going to come back to buy the vehicle and that's when it went downhill. I was told i was shown and quoted the wrong vehicle and was told they were going to make it right and when i get back to the dealership their idea of making it right was selling it to me at a higher price, which meant a higher payment. I told them no and to eat their mistake and they wouldn't so i left. AGAIN STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!! they are scam artists looking to pull a fast one on you.

Buying a 2024 Subaru Ascent Limited

KItt Kamya was my salesperson. He was excellent. He was friendly and treated me well. He knew my needs and wants. He was able to recommend what SUV was good for me. Also, he gave suggestions on what works for the Subaru. The experience was amazing, smooth, and very quick. Kitt communicates well too. He answered all my questions too.

Service Department work

With all the recent rain, something was causing water to leak into the roof area above the driver door. Service department checked thoroughly and discovered that the drain areas for the sunroof were blocked. They did whatever was necessary to clean them and rechecked to be sure it was no longer leaking. Recommendation was to be sure to keep the car in the sun during the day so that everything would dry out thoroughly.

BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!

I'm 74 years old and have bought 7 new cars in my lifetime, and I have to say this was the best experience I ever had. Kelly, our sales representative was absolutely fantastic. She catered to all our needs and was so kind and appreciative that we chose Gillman to purchase our new car.

First off my compliments to my salesman Jose Garay he was

First off my compliments to my salesman Jose Garay he was a stand up guy, honest and forthcoming. I went in to purchase a used 2020 certified Subaru Forester at the Gillman Subaru dealership in Houston off of I 59. The price listed was $23,900 which was a fair deal and I decided to purchase. Then they generate an invoice and in addition to the purchase price they quote a ~$2000 dealer prep charge which included window tint, nitrogen filled tires and other minor trivial things. It wasn't listed in the purchase price of the car online. I didn't like this and couldn't get it taken off but wanted the car so agreed. I live in Galveston County which is about 50 miles away so it was a drive to get there. They apparently had another buyer from Oklahoma that wanted the car but hadn't put down money yet so they sold me the card since I was there. I decided to pay cash/check so I didn't have to come back. I asked if they took a check and they said yes, it's done everyday. So we are 99% done and I write the check and hand to the finance guy and he looks at it and questions the names printed on the check. I never write checks and these checks are 5-10 years old and for security purposes I only put the first initial and last name on the heading of the check and sign my full name. He questions this and has to check with the boss and the boss doesn't approve it (I've used these same checks to purchase a $60K+ truck the previous year). I told him to check with my bank and verify the funds (it was still open at that time) but they refused. He told me I could put a deposit on the car via credit/debit card and come back tomorrow. I told him I didn't want to come back I live to far away and told him I was going to check with West Houston Subaru who had a comparable model (2020 Forester with 25K miles with only a $400 dealer prep fee) and then went straight there and bought the car and saved ~$1567. Buyer beware!
