I took a 2017 Subaru Forester (134000 mi) in for annual
I took a 2017 Subaru Forester (134000 mi) in for annual inspection and oil change. I asked them to check my TPS system, it hadn't been connected correctly after getting new tires 6 months ago at a Costco. Came back saying 1. I needed a new battery (this would be the third one) and 2. I needed 4 new tire sensors as mine were bad. Instead, I opted to get the terminals cleaned on the battery and skip the sensors since it was just an annoying light on a dashboard. They gave my key back and the Fob is no longer working. Told me it because the tire sensors don't work. WHAT!? It worked when I walked in here! It doesn't work now because you disconnected the battery to clean the terminals. Not to worry, it can be fixed for the low, low price of $700 to replace the main computer part that controls the key fob and the TPS system. I wont need the new tire sensors, maybe, once I pay for the whole part and labor to fix it. Such great customer service they followed that up by sending me an email telling me I had an urgent need for new tires since mine are worn down to a dangerously low tread (not even 6 month old tires on it which started this whole thing). So here I sit with my key fob that only on the drivers side door but not without the emergency alarm going off every time I open the door with it. That stops when I jump into the car and start the engine with the key. Fun Times. I am a 68 yr old white female with lovely gray hair so they must be providing me with special pricing and services. Oh, whatever program they have to offset costs won't help me because I have too many miles on the thing. Ha, I drove my Ford 150 and Toyotas over 250+ miles each and I believed Subaru was a better built car than those. Stay away if you are smarter than me.

Unhappy that the salesman we worked with did not get
Unhappy that the salesman we worked with did not get credit for the sale. We made appointment via text. Was given name to see. Had a definite time to see him. He was working another customer when we arrived. Turned over to someone else. He spent several hours with us. Very professional. Did the paperwork and everything else. Got cheated out of the sale because some other person was the one we had a non-existent appointment with.

Mechanic should have shown me the repairs and explained them to me. I do not know anything. They told my sales lady that I needed to answer my phone when they call me. No caller id from them and my phone did not ring. They called an uber for me and again my phone did not ring. Uber cancelled my first two rides. While I was in the car with my third Uber driver, they cancelled my ride TWICE.

I did not expect to purchase a vehicle on my first visit.
I did not expect to purchase a vehicle on my first visit. The sales person was pleasant and personable. He had prepared the car for a test drive before I arrived. My trade-in was given a decent value. Unlike a different dealership that had offered $5,000 less than market value. No running back and forth between the salesman and the manager. Their first offer was on the mark. I was treated respectfully.

I have been working with Ismael Vanegas in the service
I have been working with Ismael Vanegas in the service department, since he started at Gillman. Every time I had to bring my 2019 Outback Ismael has been polite, professional and curious. If, I have questions or concerns, and he doesn't have an answer he doesn't mine asking for help. I came this month for my check engine light again. He was right on top of getting it fix and me getting a car to drive. Ismael Vanegas is a very value asset to Gillman Subaru Southwest.

He was very helpful with details and explanations of trims and features and I never felt pressured by time constraints or sales tactics. His managers Ryan Nowzoori and Javier Reyes were equally professional and helpful. All three were also respectful and personable. The facility is nice and comfortable.
