Buying experience was pretty good but the things that were wrong weren't discovered until I got home. The car had multiple small paint chips and had a... dent in the passenger door. Of course, once off the lot, it's yours. Inside the floors had weather tech mats which the salesman said was extra value until... a week later when I went to vacuum and pulled them up and saw the disgusting carpets underneath. With all this, I would have said I'll buy the car if these things were fixed. I now I have to pay for it. They pulled my car lighter out to fix a pocket door and were supposed to replace it when the new one came in. I called many times trying to get the guy to find out if it was in and he never answered his phone and never called me back when I left a message. It's a few months later and now the car is stopping on me. I tried calling the service dept and can't get an answer. The phone just rings and rings. The one time I went into the service dept, no one came out to see what I wanted. I had to go inside and get someone. I also have a Toyota and have been to their service dept many, many times. I'm always greeted as soon as I pull up and my car is taken in the back for service. I've NEVER had to go looking for someone. One other thing. The one time I was in the service dept, which was about a week after I bought the car, I was talking to one of the guys and I told him about the carpets. He said a full service was done. I said no it wasn't because of the dirty carpets. I also told him that the car I traded in wasn't serviced either but they said it was. I had rebought the car because my son wanted it and they charged me 2,000 extra from what they gave me on the trade-in. He looked up my trade-in and said no it wasn't serviced. ( I knew it hadn't been) I went to the manager and they gave me $1,000 dollars back but I still had to pay for the title transfers which I wouldn't have had to pay for if they had sold me the car back immediately. This was the 5th car we bought from LaMarque but I seriously doubt we'll be shopping there again. BTW, I'm still waiting for the service dept to call me back. :(
I had a GRRRRRRRRRRREAT experience at Lamarque Ford Used cars this weekend. Gregory Lowe (G. Lowe) was an excellent car salesman!!! He was FAST, efficient... an knowledgeable about my vehicle. I was in the dealership less than 4 hours for the entire transaction. If you ever need a car please give him a call. One call that's ALL!!! Thanks again G.Lowe!!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a dealer. Purchased a brand new 2020 f250 Platinum, the truck came with a free spray in bed liner... wonderful so I... schedule an appointment to have it done. I dropped the truck off to be told that they have no loaner vehicles available. They call me to say the truck is finished, I pick up my truck. Realized my backup camera was not working when I got home. I called the service department, by the way my service advisor is Errol Mayfield with no customer service skills whatsoever. Bring the truck back to the dealership, they look under my truck and say that the back up camera harness was cut. I went under the truck and saw it was taped up with electrical tape. Errol and the technician that sprayed the bed liner never admitted to cutting it even though they admitted they had to disconnect it to do the spray in bed liner..so even better they tell me (who just purchased the vehicle) that I must have done it. The service manager after I talked to Errol told me they would get it fixed but weren’t willing to accept the blame on that.. even though they were the only ones that had touched the truck and the harness....furthermore my whole truck had to be detailed and clay bared to remove the overspray from them doing the spray in bed liner that is now coming up. I purchased the vehicle on May 7 and Lamarque Ford has still not fixed my back up camera. I’ve have called numerous times and have gotten the run around on the part that’s needed. They called me mid June and said they had it so I drop my truck off there left it there all day. After not hearing from them by the end of the day, I called to be told that it was the wrong harness for the back up camera. They then tried to say they couldn’t get the part until July 7. Here we are past July 7, my truck is still without a back up camera. I have yet to hear from Lamarque Ford if the part is in. Needless to say I would stay clear of this dealership. Customer service and doing the right thing for the customer is not their top priority.
The salesman, Don, and manager, Jimmy, were honest and upfront from the start. There were no games, no back-and-forth haggling that you get at other dealerships.... All the information was presented to me at the beginning, there were no surprise fees or hidden costs. They gave me a great price for my trade in. I greatly appreciate their First Responders Discount, as my husband and I are both firefighters. I would recommend Lamarque Ford to everyone!
Well, here we are, sold the van to CJ at Lamarque Ford on Feb. 13th, 2019. Have emailed, called, complained, anything to try and get this dealership to... pay me for my vehicle, still no check. Ray Hoffman has gotten involved but still no results. Just the same ol story, we waiting on the title. Well folks let me tell you, if you ever consider selling a vehicle to these folks, DON"T. They make you sign a paper that says you don't get the money owed you until they get the title. Well if like me, you have a bank hold on the title, you beyond signing the paperwork, have no ability to control how long that takes. You will rely completely on Debbie West to pursue getting the title. GOOD LUCK. If they choose to, the don't have to act for months. Just sit on your vehicle and the paperwork. Nothing you can do but wait, and wait we have. Month and a half now and still no money. Way to go Lamarque, dealership of integrity, wonder if Ronnie knew he would approve.
Terrible experience with Diesel McDermott trying to get paid for excess over payoff for my vehicle. Won’t take phone calls. No check after 30+ days.
I leased my vehicle here and they encouraged me to get service completed with them. I called the dealership around 10 times over the course of 5-6 hours... and couldn't get anyone to pick up once being transferred to the service department, once someone even picked up and hung up the phone. I tried booking online and the website threw an error and instructed me to call the service department. So I went back to attempting to call the service department, after 4 or 5 more failed attempts, I got someone to answer, only to tell me that they wouldn't be able to fit me in for about 9 business days. I had an issue requiring prompt service (unsure if vehicle was safe to drive), so I took my vehicle and business elsewhere. You would think a dealership would put more importance on access to service considering the opportunity for revenue, especially on a leased vehicle that they will be taking back at some point.
I negotiated a deal with Mike Smith, agreed to purchase, drove an hour to pick up vehicle and the sales manager said the truck was not available. Wanted... to sell me a more expensive model. They searched for another one for two hours and said they couldn’t honor price. Bad business. BEWARE because I had a quote from the dealership.��������������������

From the buying process through the service process, the experience has been excellent. I bought my Explorer in November 2016 and my wife bought her Expedition... in January 2015, and we share this view. Our salesman was outstanding and our service rep, we both use the same service rep, has been equally outstanding.
