Fantastic experience working with Michael Frohlich. Very friendly and knowledgeable person with excellent followup after the sale. I owned a Saab few yrs... back and my experience was really bad so I was not fond of swedish products but this car and service facility was surprisingly good experince.
Working with Jacob, especially, and Shannon. This was a long process, nearly a year, where we test drove a lot of cars from different makers. We kept coming... back to Volvo. Jacob worked with us several times, answering a lot of questions, as we came to realize that the XC60 was the better choice for us, not the 40 -- and the XC40 is a stunning and brilliant car. There was no pressure, no sense of used car sales guys with slicked back hair. This was collaborative, a conversation.
I recently had my Volvo V90 receive its 20K service. Courteous service writer Jim had all work done in a timely manner plus had the car washed and a minor... paint scrape buffed out. From the initial purchase assisted by Michael Frohlich and Manager Shannon, all encounters with this dealership have been exemplary. It does help that they are selling excellent vehicles.
Undoubtedly the easiest, fastest, and most pleasurable repair experience I've encountered! Free loaner car! Great coffee! Fantastic communication!... In and out quickly and my car was washed and vacuumed!
I was impressed by the responsiveness from both the managers and staff, via phone and email. Our sales rep Karrie Jones was very attentive, very easy to... work with, not overbearing at all, and very patient with us as we discussed and drove different cars. We also like the personal touch Karrie used by taking a picture of us with our newly purchased Volvo and sending a congratulations card in the mail. The business manager was also very easy to work with as we finalized the purchase and efficiently signed all of the documents elecronically. I have nothing but the highest recommendation to give to Karrie and the Volvo Austin staff.
They sold me a car with bird spots on it. The sales rep also told me the voice recognition system had to learn my voice....that was the reason it did... not work when I picked up the car. Really? I had to install the voice rec update. While the dealership took care of fixing the bird spots, I still could not believe the car was not QC'd properly. I'm still wondering if they even checked the oil before giving me the car. Plus the sales rep still has not gotten back to me to see how I'm doing or about ordering locking lug nuts I asked him about. Poor service after the sale for this customer who purchased a $78K car.
Great service management. Respectful and courteous at all times. Excellent communication, clear explanation of services needed. Proactive on my behalf... to seek ways to lower the cost of certain items.
Michael Frohlich and his team were knowledgeable and courteous. We had to make some last minute changes to what we agreed to buy and they were more than... accommodating. Since our purchase, they have checked in multiple times to make sure we were happy and washed our car when we stopped by for the tags. We looked at BMWs and Minis at other dealerships and none of them compared to Roger Beasley. They didn't have us waiting around forever and were great about explaining everything about our new car and financing.
From negotiating the deal to delivery of the car everything went very well. The staff at volvo of austin is very attentive and friendly. We definitely... recommend them.
I don't understand how it takes ~6 weeks to figure out why a car won't start. I understand there are steps to deducing the problem, but a weeks' time between... each step is too long. No sense of urgency.
