Very dishonest staff in the service department.

Very dishonest staff in the service department. It’ seems they are pushing parts to sell and screw customers over to fatten their pockets. They go back on their words and it’s really sad and obvious they are crooked. My daughter a professional student in Baton Rouge and I’m several miles away. I’m highly mechanically inclined and I wish I would have fixed the vehicle myself instead getting screwed by some crooks.

The service department caught our vehicle on fire while

The service department caught our vehicle on fire while changing the lifters, lied about it, and told numerous lies throughout the process after we discovered there had been a fire in the engine bay of the truck. Service manager was rude with every encounter. General manager was great until it came down to honoring what he and their service director offered/suggested to rectify the issue. Now, they are trying to sell the vehicle that has had a fire in the engine bay and has had issues after they “fixed everything”.

The degree of “goodwill” were lies so there wasn’t much “goodwill extended”. There will be no concerns going forward because I wouldn’t give another penny to an All Star dealership.

Service department is awesome.

Service department is awesome. They took care of my daughter with care and compassion when her car needed repair. That is not common in today’s business world. Highly recommend for service of your Chevrolet.

Took three hours for an oil change with an appointment

Took three hours for an oil change with an appointment that I showed up on time for and last time they rotated my tires and damaged one of my lugs took two hours to remove stud this time so five hours of my day was wasted

This was the worse car shopping experience I have EVER

This was the worse car shopping experience I have EVER had, and I have purchased quite a few cars. ROBERT JACKSON was aggressive, loud and threatening. I went in for an Appraisal on my current vehicle and to see a car that was available on the lot. I wasn’t in agreement with the numbers’ I asked for my keys 3X’s so I could leave, He argued with me and followed me out of the dealership after I asked him not to follow me. I reported it to Christopher Solomon GSM. I have never been treated like that! He should not be allowed to have any interaction with the public! Absolutely horrible! ALL STAR Automotive Airline Hwy Baton Rouge La!

NOTHING ALL STAR ABOUT THIS PLACE! Mr. McNab is the epitome of what the world thinks car salesmen are! He proves that there are still some unscrupulous, seedy and downright unconscionable ones out there! It is definitely unsettling that he has a leadership position and represents a brand as management. LIED UNTIL THE BITTER END! Told me he could NOT make a deal in 72 hours that I made overnight! He sold the vehicle from under me and its still sitting on the lot. I guess his friend/associate changed their mind or didn't come through as he expected! Perfect ending for a prefect fiasco AND LIAR! Me? I'm riding high in my new 2024 3500 truck from TRAPP CHEVROLET! I told you Mr. McNab I would make you known for what you did! Well, it starts NOW!

Switched the price after agreeing to a price that was

Switched the price after agreeing to a price that was higher than advertised price. Would not do business with them. A bunch of dishonest scammers.

Very limited info while signing info & paperwork.

Very limited info while signing info & paperwork. No discussion on costs of what they were promoting. Made everything seem like it was a gift but once you see the line item, you notice they charged you for every little detail. I went to test drive a vehicle and it had 14 psi in the tire. Once I decided to buy the vehicle I asked them to check out the tire. Was told it was just the tire stem. I took them at their word. Later that day when I got home, tire monitoring system alerted to low psi. They never looked at the tire, just aired it up and sent me on my way. It's been 20 years since I've been in the car buying business. I was strapped for time so didn't press any issues. I definitely didn't feel like they were doing their best. Only trying to get me to sign paperwork and push me out the door. Everyone's experience is different, but this was mine.
