I purchased a used vehicle from Roger Beasley Mazda of

I purchased a used vehicle from Roger Beasley Mazda of Georgetown on July 10th, expecting a reliable car and professional customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite of the values they claim to uphold—values such as honesty, transparency, quality service, and building lasting customer relationships. I paid nearly $20,000 for a vehicle that was presented as well-discounted due to hail damage. According to the Used Car Manager, David Jacobson, I received a "generous" discount. However, the vehicle's actual Kelley Blue Book value without hail damage is around $16,000, making the discount far from generous. I chose to buy from a dealership instead of a private party so I could count on support if issues arose. That was clearly a mistake. Within 24 hours, I contacted David regarding several cosmetic issues that should have been addressed before the car was listed for sale—especially at this price point. I was immediately dismissed and told that the price reduction negated any responsibility for these issues. Instead of offering real solutions, David suggested I trade in the car I had just purchased. That alone raised red flags about the overall quality and inspection standards of their inventory. Things took a dramatic turn when, less than 72 hours after purchase, my car completely broke down during an 8-hour drive to Oklahoma for a funeral. I was stranded at midnight in a rural area with no help, resources, or nearby open mechanics. After troubleshooting common issues like the battery, alternator, and key fob, it became clear this was a more serious mechanical failure. I called the dealership hoping they’d stand by their product, especially given how little time had passed since the purchase. David once again showed little concern and told me that because I was outside their 3-day/300-mile policy, there was nothing he could do. His only “solution” was for me to tow the car 7 hours back to the dealership—at my own expense—just to trade it in at a loss. This is not how a reputable dealership should operate. I am a college student who works full time, supports myself financially, and is preparing to relocate across the country for school. This experience has been not only costly but incredibly stressful and disheartening. If you are considering buying a vehicle from Roger Beasley Mazda of Georgetown, proceed with extreme caution. Their sales pitch and stated values do not align with how they treat customers once a sale is finalized.

Great Mazda Dealership

Went to here to get my vehicle serviced. Great experience as always. In and out in a reasonable time. Quiet and comfortable waiting area. I purchased my vehicle from Roger Beasley because they were one of the few dealerships that wasn't adding a markup or add ons. I also appreciate my interactions with Adel and I'll keep buying cars from him.

Excellent service department!

We took my 2011 Mazda Tribute in for inspection, oil change and alignment. Everyone was very courteous and helpful, especially appreciated since I am handicapped and needed a little help getting in and out of the car. My husband and I had left the car to be serviced , and it was ready within a short time.

Satisfied customer

I had a seamless buying experience, and the after-purchase service has been excellent. Everyone at Roger Beasley Mazda has been professional, pleasant, courteous and responsive, from the sales associate to the GM to the service advisors to the service techs to the receptionist, I give them all 5 stars. I highly recommend this dealership.

Great Service

Very friendly staff, quick service. Very helpful to explain work that is being done. Clean waiting room, great snacks. Cost charged was fair. Love the video sent from the service tech.

Mazda Georgetown Service

When I first called to schedule service, I encountered a really rude lady that would talk over me and sigh at me. I was just trying to schedule. I called back and got Bruce who was super helpful. Thank you Bruce! The service team was then able to get me fixed up. The service team doesn’t do the inspection videos anymore, but I got out of there with what I needed. Thanks Mazda Service team! :)

Always great service!

Went in for my regular CX-5 checkup. Courtney and all were GREAT! I always feel that I will get the best advice when taking care of my vehicle from Courtney. I like that they send me a video to show me what they find. I love this dealership!!!

Very Pleased With Roger Beasley Mazda Georgetown

I purchased a certified pre-owned 2019 CX-5 in 2020. I felt I got a fair price and a fair trade-in on the 2008 Mini Cooper S that I purchased new. I purchased the service contract as well, something I have never done in the past. I have utilized the service package multiple times, for state inspections on this car and my wife’s 2012 Honda Accord. I have had multiple oil changes and tire rotations and safety inspections, all included with the service package. I consider the wait for service to be very reasonable, and they have coffee, water and some snacks available while you wait, as well as free WI-FI, although it is an unsecured network They record a video by the service techs, going over the details of the inspection, which is a great feature. Overall, I have been very pleased with my dealings with Roger Beasley Mazda Georgetown.

Skip the service package

Buy a car, but don't buy the maintenance package. The first appt they treated me great, but its been downhill from there. I make appts, arrive a little early and always have to wait 2-3 times longer than it should take. They also told me there would be loaner cars, but they never seem to have one available.

First and foremost, I want to apologize for your experience at our dealership. I apologize for the long wait, I can imagine that was very frustrating. Sometimes unexpected issues come up with other customers' vehicles and cause delays in our service department. Regardless, we should have done a much better job communicating that with you. I also apologize for not having a loaner available. The best way to ensure you have a loaner vehicle is to request one at the time that you schedule an appointment. This way we can have one set aside and ready for you before you arrive. Additionally, we have a shuttle service available. Again, I am sorry for your experience and will make sure this is addressed by management.
