Chipola Ford Has Good Service

Staff takes time to make sure that requests for the type of service is completed satisfactorily- those at service desk, body shop person, cashier and management. They are also fair with prices.

Purchase of 2019 F250 King Ranch 4x4 diesel

I observed the truck on Chipola Ford Lot. Talked with Staff, test drove it and purchased the truck. John Allen was the salesman and very knowledgeable about the truck and the F250 diesel performance. Rick Barnes,the manager, was also very helpful in the history of the truck. Eric Walden, Finance Manager, was professional and helpful. It was an outstanding team and I love my truck.

2019 Ford Ranger

I want to be fair and honest in this review. I thought I had purchase the perfect truck when I first bought my 2019 Ford Ranger. It had everything on it I liked. Electronics and etc. Ford Pass, remote star with phone in cold weather. Something happened with the Ford Pass and they cannot fix it. 2 times I have taken it up there, one time for 5 days and still not repaired. I have made one more appt. hopefully this time it can be fixed. We'll see.

I’m writing this review kind of late I’ll explain I brought my f350 truck to Chipola Ford about four months ago the rear end was whining and making noise and getting hot they assessed it realize that the ring and pinion gears were chewed up and did the repairs they had my truck for five weeks not one time did they call me in five weeks after the repairs about a month after I got my truck back the rear axle and started whining all over again and getting very hot I returned it to the dealership they test drove it and said that my truck had a break-in 1500 miles on the rear So I drove my truck another 2000 miles and The rear axle continued two wine even louder and get hotter and I called the dealership three times they never would call me back I finally had no choice to take it to another dealership I took it to Fort Walton they looked at my truck replaced every single part in the rear end because they told me that the rear end was completely burned up and the oil was silver in color because of overheating And they did the repairs in less than a week Chipola Ford was supposed to replace bearings ring and pinion gear pinion bolts seal oil slinger the receipt only shows a ring and pinion gear and the oil the other dealership replaced all the bearings carrier bearings and pinion bearings ring and pinion all the parts in the rear and have the receipt to prove it how can they only have my truck for one week and this dealership only replaced two gears and had it for five weeks I would never recommend this dealership for anything and their customer service or communication is the worst I’ve ever seen to me the service manager the lady in charge doesn’t seem to know what she’s doing if you don’t understand how vehicles work then you should be in a position she told me she just relied on her head mechanic so she really couldn’t answer any of my questions like the other dealership did if you want an honest review you make sure that you publish to me they gave no customer service they weren’t honest and they certainly weren’t prompt in anyway My truck was under warranty paid for these repairs that the work should have been done properly and another dealership had to do them the right way you guys should give the money back to to Ford warranty By the way the parts department was very courteous and kind and help me with oil and things I needed I would return just them to get what I need never go to service again and what I mean by not being honest they told me a diesel mechanic was gonna work on my truck and that was not the case they just had a regular mechanic do the work on my diesel truck and I believe that’s why it wasn’t fixed properly you guys have cost me a lot of time and money for such a simple repair it’s just a shame
