"Gilland's Got It!"
The service department was awful! Made an appointment for 8:15 A.M it's now 2 P.M. !!! Disappointed doesn't even begin to tell of my aggravation. I Will... not be back for service!

On 7/3/20 I went to Gilland Chevrolet GMC in Ozark AL to my 8th vehicle in 6 yrs from Gilland’s. I was going to purchase a 2020 GMC 1500 but, when we started... doing the paperwork they would only offer 12K for 2018 Ford I bought from Gilland a year earlier for 19K and NADA list trade between $16325 – 17375. They refused to negotiate the price at all! I do not know if Gilland GMC is under new management or not but, it was not the same attitude I dealt with before. I would not recommend this dealership anymore giving them recommendations for over 6 years.
We apologize for what has happened to the car market in the last several months, but most people now want an SUV or a truck like you were trying to pu...rchase, not a car. Some manufacturers have even realized this and have all but stopped making cars in favor of SUVs and trucks. Ford, for example, is only currently producing the Mustang. That has made car values drop very low over the last few months, especially in our more rural market. We are only able to pay you what your car is worth, cash value, due to the fact that we have our new vehicles priced at cost and sometimes even lower. Therefore, we are unable to over allow you for your trade-in like the other dealers do that have the mark-up between list price and cost to play with. We strive to be very transparent in our pricing, both online and in the showroom. The best way to determine if you are getting a good deal is to compare the bottom line, out-the-door prices on an identically equipped vehicle. That will let you know if you are getting a fair price.
I drove from auburn to Ozark to view a GMC Acadia, which I did purchase. They walked me through the whole process, made sure i was taken care of, worked... with me on pricing, and made me an official first time car buyer. I highly recommend.

After having a bad experience with a business that wasn't honest, I decided that going back to the dealership for all service was in my best interest.... I ALWAYS get great honest service! They don't try to sell me something I really don't need. It is refreshing to go there and know I will not be taken advantage of because of being a senior female citizen who knows nothing about cars. I do know I will be treated fairly and honestly when I need service.
