I just got back from the worst experience I've ever had at an auto dealer's service center. I called yesterday to make an appointment, or get some information... on coming in to get my Traverse serviced under warranty. Spoke with Chuck, who said just come in when you can, so I said I'll see you tomorrow and he said ok. I get there today and I'm the only customer in sight - awesome! Every service desk had an employee behind it. This should be quick (I'm thinking). Still took them about 4-5 minutes to greet me, only to tell me that they're 3-5 days backlogged. So my only choice is to drop my vehicle off for 3-5 days before they can even look at it. I asked them if they were any options as this is my family's only vehicle and I have a one month old daughter that I need to get to a doctor in Rowlett, but can't until the A/C's back up. The guy I was talking to was totally unforgiving and seemed like he could care less. So, why didn't Chuck tell me about this apparent backlog? Take your business elsewhere. They're rude and unprofessional. Even if you don't believe me, they don't even have the time for your business anyhow!

Outstanding service provided by the staff at Lakeside Chevrolet
I appreciate people who do what they say. In this case it was disappointing. I came up there looking to purchase 2 new vehicles. The truck I came to look... at was the one I bought. From the beginning I let my sales rep know what I wanted. I wanted all terrain tires on it. That was my only request! I was willing to pay the difference. He said that he could not exchange them but they would offer a 1k credit towards the purchase of the ones I wanted. Then after I bought the truck he said the credit was only 600. He said for me to call him on Monday morning and he would take care of me. Well he didn't answer or return my call. Tuesday I texted the sales rep and that's when he said there was 0 credit on exchange of the tires. He said he went to Management and he laughed at him and said, "haven't you been watching the news, were not doing any thing like that". Blamed it on the Corona Virus. I am SO disappointed in his business ethic. I purchased 2 new vehicles from them on Saturday. Myself and my friends cant believe him. In the worse of times he still hustled me. We all know he got a nice commission off us. I do not believe I was asking to much to pay extra for the tires I wanted. Honestly, everything was fine until it wasnt.

Chuck's a great service manager. Accepted my vehicle at the appointment time. Delivery was on time. Repair taken care of as requested.
Worst dealership EVER. Do not go here if you are looking for friendliness, Do not come here if you are looking for cleanliness, Do not come here if are... expecting even a fast/easy service! Bob in service and the man who could barley fit himself in my vehicle are especially the worst out of all. Even when I told them give me my key to my vehicle they said to my face "You will not be getting the key to your car back until I give it to you" HOW DARE SOMEONE who doesn't pay for someone else's car or anything not gone you back your stuff when you are demanding it back EVEN IF YOU ALREADY PAID... BEWARE NEVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!

Almost a two hour oil change? They were not busy, they had one other car in the bay.... came in for a simple oil change, left two hours later after being... told it should only take about 45min... (which is also too long for an oil change when not busy). Makes me wonder how long it takes to get any other services done here. Take your vehicle somew here else, plenty of other nearby shops.

We dealt with Danny and everything went smoothly. Went in late on a Thursday night to start the process. He really took the time to understand our needs... and current position. Went back on Saturday to finish the search and find our vehicle. Not only were we able to get out of our lease on a small car but got into the SUV we needed for our growing family. Ended working out a deal on a 2nd car as well so we drove off the lot with 2 new cars. Typical wait while we finalized paperwork but didn't feel cheated or swindled or limited on what we were looking at.
In and out in under an hour. Good deal on a new truckand fair offer on my trade in. What a car buying experience should be.
