Good Experience
We had to order a vehicle and Rockwall Ford walked us through the process and kept us updated on the progress. The salesman Carl contacted us once it arrived at the dealership and accommodated our needs for the pickup date. Sales manager Karl was also very helpful.

Rockwall Ford
Our vehicle was in the shop for two weeks. There were several issues to resolve and the availability of parts to fix the problems was a source of contention. Because we had an extended warranty most items were covered including a rent car. Even rent cars were in very short supply. Despite the challenges, Moses, our Service Advisor, handled everything extremely well. Another great experience at Rockwall Ford

Last visit
After 20 years, our family will no longer visit Rockwall Ford for our car repair and service needs. This is a complete disappointment since the service and convenience in the past had always been great. However, post-pandemic, it has changed from being a dealership with a service center, to now one that seems to only survive off the service dept and more often pushes for overpriced “immediate” need repairs to the point we can no longer support this establishment. While the last two visits were unpleasant, I had hoped they were just a fluke and a run of bad luck. However, the most recent visit proved the final straw in losing all confidence as a customer of the services they provide. After dropping off and explaining the need to have a coolant hose replaced, I was notified $4k in hoses and clamps were required to correct the issue. This was a total lack of respect, providing a quote that should be 50% of the quote at best - a total of nearly $4k in quoted service needs for a few hundred dollars in parts and 3-4 hours of work. This is just the latest in a recent string of overpriced pressure. The visit just prior, I had dropped off for a front brake pad replacement and left with four new rotors and thousands in expenses. The old rotors just could no longer be turned? They had never been turned. I let it slide the first time or two - but no more. I honestly cannot recommend using this shop for really anything going forward. It is unfortunate, but my family (4 cars) as well as the rest of my extended family (another 4-5 cars) will now choose to have our repairs/service provided from other local shops. To add the final salt in wound, when I rejected the service quote and requested to pick up my car, I was charged a $250 “diagnostic” charge to diagnose what I had explained to them was the problem when I dropped off my car. However, I did not mind paying the fee to get my car out of there. This is the last time they’ll advantage of our family.
