WATCH OUT FOR THIS DEALERSHIP. I was sold a vehicle that had rodent infestation which comprised the rear electrical system to the rear climate control. North point Volvo says it was a certified vehicle however it was deliver to me with the rear climate control panel not even working. Took it to my local Volvo dealer and they found out through their inspection that it had rodent damage to the wiring. Not to mention that north point Volvo told me three times upon asking that the vehicle had nothing wrong with it and it was in immaculate condition. I received my vehicle I paid cash for with rips in the leather door panel burnt and rodent infestation. North point Volvo says this is a certified vehicle but the vehicle had electrical issue like I stated. Before purchase of the vehicle I was told it they did a full inspection, however as stated above I was delivered a vehicle that didn’t even have rear climate.. something you would expect to have in a luxury vehicle!! They aren’t willing to fix their mistake even though I have texts saying they were embarrassing of the issues. So unless you want to spend additional thousands for a vehicle you was told was certified and good running condition then don’t buy from this dealer. IM VERY DISGUSTED WITH THIS DEALER, what would of happened if the electrical damage caused by rodents (that they overlooked) caused a fire with my children in the vehicle??

Quality Used Volvo's and Great Service
There are numerous questionable dealers with questionable autos around Atlanta. We were about to quit looking for the day, but stopped by North Point Volvo as it was on the way home. So glad we did! We found a beautiful Volvo for our daughter at a reasonable price. Louis was our salesperson and took his time to show us the xc60 and highlight the safety features that makes Volvo unique. Was also willing to show us exactly what work had been completed, as it was used, a run down of the carfax report, and even helped my daughter setup her hands free driving before we left. Beautiful dealership, quality cars, and great service. I would go back!

LOVE THIS DEALERSHIP!
We recently purchased a trade-in SUV (Jeep Cherokee) at North Point Volvo with the assistance of Anthony Jones. He was extremely helpful, answering all our questions, showing us all the bells and whistles, etc. with no pressure while we made a decision. The car, having some age, was immaculate. A shout-out to Will Blythe for his patience in making the paper work very quick and easy, answering all questions. We highly recommend this dealership and are sure you will receive the same treatment.

Outstanding experience with salesmanAnthony Jones
We have had Volvos for many years and always pleased with North Point .Anthony was friendly and not a pushy salesman. Very impressed with his knowledge of the car he was selling and his desire to be sure we knew how to work all the new gadgets on the car we were purchasing. He took time with us and was very friendly and caring. We would definitely recommend him!!

Dismal customer service
- [ ] Good sales team but ABSOLUTELY DISMAL customer service after purchase. I went to the dealership on 12/31/21 looking at a gold s90. Once I arrived at the dealer, they informed me that it was pending a deal but they had a black CPO s90 I could look at. When he returned, he informed me that they just started a deal on the black one as well so we COULD NOT look at either. Since both cars I was looking at sold, I asked them to appraise my 2021 Xc90 just so if they were to get any more s90’s in stock, I could just use that estimate. I waited over two hours to find out that they had FORGOTTEN to appraise my car. I then left the dealership where the salesman called me to tell me that the deal fell through and the black s90 was for sale. I returned to the dealer (now close to closing time) signed the deal and took possession of the s90. During this process I realized that I did not have all of the keys for the trade in so we agreed that I would return with the remaining keys. The next morning after purchasing the s90, I noticed a large rip in the rear seat and bulges on the sidewalls of my tires. When returning to the dealership I pointed these out to my salesman and he said that they would repair the rip and that the tires should not be an issue. After driving the vehicle for two days I got a flat tire. I took the vehicle to a tire shop where they informed me that I should return the vehicle back to the dealership I purchased it from because there were TWO bad tires and one with a damaged sidewall. As soon as I found this out, I called the salesman, informed him of the issue and sent him text message photos of the tires that needed repair. He told me to bring the car in. Once I returned to the dealership they looked at the tires and said that they did find one tire with bulges in the sidewall. I informed the service manager that there were two tires that needed repaired. He went outside with me looked at the tires with me, took pictures, agreed that both had bulges in the sidewall and would need repaired. He told me that he was going to get with his service manager and call me when there is an update. I waited a week and never received a call, so I called the dealership. I spoke with Adam, the same individual who inspected my tires, he informed me that he FORGOT to ask and that he would ask the week after when his manager came in. Once again, I never received a call back. After calling multiple times to remind them to call me, Adam called me back and informed me that they were only going to replace one tire even though they sold me a CPO with two bad tires. He said that they “couldn’t prove it didn’t happen after I bought the car” even though I mentioned it TWO days after and showed the salesman who sold it to me. In Volvo’s OWN CPO booklet, it says that tires are covered when purchasing the vehicle. I am beyond disappointed that a company who prides themselves on safety, sold me a car with bad tires that they won’t fix. I traded in a perfect condition $60,000 lease, pay $38,000 for a used Volvo and they can’t even give me the two tires that they should have replaced to begin with. I never expected a company who considers themselves “Luxury” to provide such terrible customer service and cut corners to save such a small amount of money. This dealership should be ashamed putting profit and their own mistakes above customer service and safety. I have filed a corporate case with Volvo and am awaiting more information.

Buyer Beware!
My husband and I recently attempted to purchase a certified pre-owned 2018 XC60 from NPV. We found the car at night and it looked pretty great in the dark and even in the lit garage. We were told that there was absolutely no wiggle room in the inflated price due to Covid. We agreed to the price as we were certain that we would be getting a great car because we were paying significantly more for a Volvo “certified pre-owned” vehicle. When we returned a couple of days later to pay (we had left a deposit). The car didn’t look good in the day light. All four wheels were severely damaged and there were big gouges in the paint. Also, only 1 tire had been replaced. As part of CPO, tires need to be replaced if the wear is 40% or greater. How could only 1 tire qualify? We asked our salesman to explain; he didn’t have an answer and instructed us to speak directly to Mark, the GM of NPV. After explaining the above issues to Mark, he said that we had already agreed to purchase the car and he was absolutely unwilling to fix the car or adjust the price. He very quickly told us that we were welcome to walk away. He was curt to say the least and our conversation lasted under a minute. NPV did refund our deposit without hassle. We then drove 2 blocks to Lexus and bought a nicer, newer RX350 for the same price. What a different shopping experience. Their CPO cars looked great. All of them had brand new tires and minimal pain damage. They also had much better warranties. They even worked with us on a little paint damage. In the end, I am glad that Mark dismissed us so quickly because we made a better choice. However, I feel for the Sales people at Volvo. We can’t be the first customers so easily dismissed.

We are sorry you feel the way you do. Last week we negotiated a sales price to your satisfaction after you test drove and inspected the vehicle. The tires you mention in your review were not 40%, but met minimum CPO specifications @ 6/32 & 9/32. The wheels are not severely damaged; one wheel has some minor curb rash. We hope you enjoy your new vehicle.

The BEST Volvo dealership around
I bought my first volvo at Northpoint Volvo in 2006. After driving it for 15 years, I decided it was time for a new one. My husband and I originally went to another volvo dealership because it was closer, but they were not interested at all in helping me find the Volvo I wanted. After several weeks of frustration dealing with this other dealership, I decided to go to Northpoint Volvo because my first volvo buying experience with them was great. It was even better this time around. Melissa was WONDERFUL and went out of her way to help us. The staff were very personable and took great care of of us. I am so glad I decided to return to Northpoint Volvo.
