We purchased a 2024 Ford Exployer about 4 weeks ago.

We purchased a 2024 Ford Exployer about 4 weeks ago. Our salesman Collin Prater went above and beyond for us. This young man can tell you everything about any vehicle on the lot. And let me say the service doesn't stop when you drive off. I was calling and texting this fine young man numerous times wanting to know how some of the controls worked. He never hesitate to walk me the instructions. I have purchased several new cars and this guy is who you should see on this lot.

POOR SERVICE

I tried the new Ford offered service to pick up your car and service it with no charge for the pick up at the Prater Ford in Calhoun GA and the service was fine as far as I know but they also offer a wash so I paid and extra $40 to get my car washed. It came back with the windows all front back and all the sides with the soap spots all over them and the spray they used inside is sprayed all over the windows. The back and sides are so back when you are driving it and have to look out of the windows you can see nothing but the dirt smeared all over them. The front is so bad that I had to take it home and try to get some of the spray off so I could see out the front glass. I called them two days in a row and ask them to come pick it back up and make it right to clean the windows like it should have been done in the first place. The service has not bothered to return my call either time and this was my first time to use Prater Ford for a service and it will be my last. I normally drive to Chatsworth Ford and I will continue to drive out of town to keep from using the local dealership because this is how they treat their customers.

I will never step foot back in prater ford.terribl

Light went out on speedometer, they say it couldn't be fixed,780.00 for new one. Went to dodge dealership where I purchased it fixed for free.

Great customer service

Had a great experience buying a used vehicle here. The salesman Sarge was knowledgeable and honest. Treat me with respect and never felt pressured. This is my second vehicle I have bought from them and it will not be my last.

2012 Fiesta

Had a factory recall (TCM) fixed for a 2012 Ford Fiesta (limp home mode). They fixed it and it continued to do it. Took the car in a second time and was charged $450 for accelerator sensor pedal I believe. Took the car home and 1 week later it did it again. Called yesterday and was told the service dept was open until 4pm. Got there and a lady cracked the door at 1:30 and shouted “were closed” “I’m here by myself what do you want me to do”. Answer to that is fix my car that way when my 3 children are in it and the gas pedal stops working they aren’t scared for their life!! The service is horrible.

Keep away!

Keep away from the service department. Went there for an oil change and mysteriously one of my lug studs snapped off while my tires were rotated. Kind of strange considering that I rotate my tires regularly every 5-6 thousand miles. They attempted to charge me $75 for something they broke. They also claimed I had a lug stud on the same wheel that was stripped so that left only 3 lug nuts holding the wheel. I left, bought 2 new lug studs and nuts, and found a place that charged me $10.00 to replace the lug stud. They also were nice enough to check my entire vehicle for a striped lug stud and did not find it.

Poor service

Took in for service and they broke my arm rest. Then told me they no longer sell them. Told me to go to the junk yard and they will pay $50 forwards it. They are hundreds of dollars. I paid $700 for tranny flush, oil and filter, cooler flush, fuel filter and balance and rotate. They did not check the differentials, transfer case, the oil filter was leaking when returned and did not even blow out the air filter or ask if I wanted it replaced. Had to tak it back to get remainder of fluids checked, under carriage greased, and oil cap replaced. Ask them to vmcheck the unit over and I had to point out things that needed to be done. They did not charge me to complete the work when I returned and pointed it out, just the price of the oil that they said may have a crack. It still leaks.
