The reason sales people have a bad rap.
While I know that one sales person is not indicative of the entire team. I will not be buying a vehicle from Rich Ford...ever. Me: im interested in a used 6.7 powerstroke 4x4 4 door. Hoping to be around 50k. Sabrina (sales rep); all our diesels in the 70k range, I'll let you know if we get one in your budget. Seriously?? Your salesperson absolutely cannot be bothered to help me for less than 70 thousand dollars?? Power cord, had a couple options on the lot, but I was hoping for a certain trim and color combo. They located 3 options within 500 miles and offered to make a deal on one of them. Long story short, the dismissive nature of your snotty sales rep ensured that I spent $54,542.87 with your competitor. Shame on Rich Ford.

Purchased 150 less than a year ago. 2 30 min trips and no time for me and they won’t take an appt. Hard to believe.
2014 Escape EcoBoost turbo replacement
On Tuesday, April 13, we took my wife?s 2014 Escape, which has 50,000 miles on it, to your dealership for an oil change. I received a call from your service assistant Nate that the Ecoboost turbocharger was leaking fluid and he recommended a diagnostic procedure. I agreed and told him to proceed. It is important to note that we had absolutely no indication that there was a problem ? no warning lights, no loss of power, no smoke in the exhaust ? nothing at all. At that time, Nate indicated that there was a chance that the powertrain warranty might cover whatever repairs were necessary. On Wednesday, Nate called and told us that the turbo unit would need to be replaced at a cost of approximately $2,600. He said that, although we still had a powertrain warranty, Ford would not cover the cost of the turbo. When I asked him why the turbo was not considered part of the powertrain, he replied that he didn?t know ? he just worked there and was doing what he was told - and suggested that I call Ford on a toll-free number. On Thursday, April 15, we received a call from a service advisor (it was Nate?s day off) who told us that the parts were in and that work was beginning. He said that one part ? an inlet tube ? was not in stock but should be in by Saturday. He said that, since the inlet tube was one of the last parts to be installed, it shouldn?t delay the repair that much and that our car would be ready by Monday the 19th or Tuesday the 20th. On Monday, April 20, Nate called and told me that, due to a large workload, the work would not begin on our car until Thursday the 23rd or Friday the 24th. When I asked him about my conversation with the advisor on Thursday the 15th, he said that it was a ?misunderstanding?. I then spoke to Lucas Lopez who apologized for the ?misunderstanding? and told me that he would apply a discount for the job. On Friday the 24th, Nate called me and told me that work was scheduled to begin on Monday, the 27th because they were awaiting the delivery of an inlet tube (sound familiar?) and that my car would not be ready until as late as Friday, the 30th. On Wednesday the 28th, Nate called and said that the car was ready. We picked it up and my wife took it to the grocery store. When she opened the rear gate to load her groceries, she discovered the dirty splash shield which had not been reinstalled. We came back to the service department and waited for about 30 minutes for the splash shield to be installed.

Rich Ford...Nails It!!!
I paid off my 2016 F150 on Tuesday....On Thursday, curiosity took me to Rich Ford to entertain their most recent promotion. I left buying a 2021 F150 Fx4 (had to get the wife's "OK" first). I never drove nor looked inside until it was already purchased. The trade-in and purchase numbers were VERY equitable. They really wanted to make this deal happen. I have not stopped talking about it. Will go back when I'm ready for an update.
