Not worth driving out of state for this dealership

My boyfriend and I drove from south Texas to Midwest Oklahoma to check out the great sales the dealership was having. We called the dealership before hand to make sure we were guaranteed the online price of a jeep we wanted and a guaranteed trade in quote before driving 7 hours out there. The two online salesmen we worked with said yes we are gauranteed. As soon as we got there, we noticed their staff was very unprofessional. We were handed off three times to different salesmen, and then we were handed off to Mr Johnson, the new car sales manager. He was a complete xxx. He told us because we wanted the "wholesale" price for the new car we were going to be offered a "wholesale" price for our trade in. His offer; 1k for our 2008 Altima. First off, we didn't go there to buy cars at "wholesale" price, we went to David Stanley for their "amazing" sale price. We were hoping to get something fair like 6-7k for our trade in. This manager did not want us to sell the car at the sale price that we drove 7 hours for. He didn't even want to sell the car by itsself, without trying to tack on one of my old loans from a completely different car that was almost paid off. Sleezy! At the end of the day he basically said that we were lied to over the phone about pricing because he was only going to sell us the new jeep that was on sale for 13k for 25k. Not going to happen. We drove back to Texas disappointed, angry and frustrated. My boyfriend gets a call the next day from one of the online salesman from David Stanley asking us why we didn't make a deal the day before. Of course we explain what went down and we are not happy. The online sale rep did her best to work with us as much as she could to try and get us a great deal for our trade in on top of the guarantee new car price ( which turned out to be correct, Mr. New car sales manger lied to me about the sale price), but at the end of the phone conversation (By now we are speaking to the online sale manager, JJ) he basically told us that we couldn't get what we wanted for the car and for the trade in because he would be losing 4k on the car deal. Losing 4k on a deal? HELLO! A deal is something thats supposed to help people save money! Not only that, I'm spending 19K on a car plus 7% interest from Chrysler financing. Plus probably buying all the other xx they add on at financing. Also, did I mention, It was a jeep? Which usually means I'm going to buy a few added on accessories and features. They just lost a customer, and a customer who would have refered them business from a different state and would have come back for years on end. I own a business and I know how important it is to keep your customers happy and to sometimes go the extra ten miles. These people at David Stanley are your typical car salesmen. They don't care about you. They car about their paycheck. Do yourself a favor. Don't buy from them. The staff is not worth your time, especially selling you a car you cannot afford.
