So happy with our 3 transactions we had with David Stanley in one day. It melted my heart to hear that the dealership would be closing a 1/2 day this past Friday for a team “family” members kids funeral. That’s what a great business looks like & anyone we know who needs a new or used vehicle will will for sure recommend David Stanley! 😄

I purchased a 2016 Jeep Patriot yesterday. Richard the sales representative in used cars was wonderful. He was very kind, patient, and made my overall experience very pleasant. He showed a lot of knowledge and interest in his job. Ryan Wilson was very wonderful in finance as well. All of the sales staff that I met yesterday made me feel really comfortable and showed a genuine interest in the customers. Annette Moore the switchboard operator was wonderful as well. I will definitely highly recommend David Stanley Chrysler Jeep and Dodge to anyone that is in the market for a new or used vehicle. Again I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Richard. Sold a car underneath me.
Sold a car underneath me. Couldn’t make a deal because car was in service. I said the moment it’s out let me know I will make a deal over the phone. I texted salesman Thursday and Friday. Come to find out it sold on Friday. I never got a call or text. Finally I texted Wednesday and was told it was sold last Friday. Poor customer service. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Get it in writing!
I’m not one to trash businesses on the internet. However, after the experience I had, I felt others might find some value in it and possibly avoid being the victim of a similar situation. Short version is to be sure and get EVERYTHING in writing and don’t trust that the dealership like this will stand behind their word. On 7/18/22 my son excitedly showed me a 2014 Ford Focus that David Stanley Midwest City had for sale. It was what he wanted and within the budget I set for him. We had previously looked and researched these vehicles and knew there were open safety recalls and warranty replacements for this year, make & model. At the dealership Mauricio from internet sales took us out for a look over the vehicle and short test drive. It was short because literally the car was almost out of gas, and I was told they do this because they have a problem with people stealing vehicles on test drives, I question that now. During the short drive I brought up the issue with the recall and limited supply of warranty parts and he assured me those items are taken care of prior to them receiving the car. We decided to go forward with the car and was once again assured there were no open recalls even though the car fax clearly showed open recalls. Mauricio stated the car fax probably wasn’t updated yet. At this point I should have had them write that down on the terms of the sale, but knowing it was a large seemingly named dealership I assumed they would back their product and sale… I WAS WRONG! On 7/19 (Next day) the car began overheating. My son reached Mauricio who told him it was probably because it was 110 out and to turn it off and wait a bit. On 7/20 he had a different issue where the gear was slipping, and it had a check engine light. On the 7/21 I brought the vehicle back and dropped off at the service department. They thought they found the issue and I picked the car up on 7/27, temp was fixed, however within 5 miles the check engine light came back. I immediately returned to the dealership. A few days later I was told there was a recall and some warranty items on the vehicle so it’s now at a Ford Dealership. As I type this out on 9/12 the car is still with Ford because of a large backorder of the part needed… the issue I tried to avoid in the first place. Communication with the dealership was challenging. For close to a month I was routed through a number of people; Teresa, Veronika, Marten, Kyle – All were very polite and seemingly helpful but no one was able to make a decision or suggest any options. All roads led to the Used Car Manager Tony. He functioned as the liaison between the owner (not David Stanley) and myself. They wanted to treat the Focus as a trade-in, offering to buy it back at 40% of what they sold it to me for. I didn’t find my suggestion of rolling back the purchase with the agreement I would purchase another vehicle from them unreasonable. I would have even tried to find middle ground, however taking a 60% hit on something they sold me and ‘assured’ didn’t have open recalls was a bit too much. As I type this out on 9/12, car is still with Ford waiting on these parts. My goal is to simply to put this information out there and hopefully prevent anyone from having the same experience I did. There are so many better dealerships out there, I would skip David Stanley all together. Whatever car they have isn’t worth the risk and having to experience that proverbial ‘shady used car sales’ stereotype. The only positive item is the service department were very nice, responsive, and communicative.
