In February I shopped for a new Pacifica, but I just had one eye surgery with the next surgery 2 weeks later. I was concerned that my eyes might make... me unable to drive? Due to surgery, it is possible eye surgery can have adverse effects, there by stopping my driving capability, I told the eager salesman of my fears. He just kept pushing me to sign now! I told him I was going to go home, take my eye drops. The salesman kept hounding me, In fact he continue to call when I got home. I was sick of this unwanted pressure. I continued to drive my old car. I went to dealer in May for State Inspection, oil change on May 5 th. I was told my car passed inspection and was all set. I paid the cashier, got my keys and invoice and headed home. At home the invoice did not include a Inspection Sticker. I was upset all weekend......Why did they tell me my car passed?? On Monday, May 8, 2017 I drove to see the Service Department and tell them I had no Inspection. The Service manager agreed to do the inspection again. I am in waiting room, I get told by Service Manager I needed brake service, I agreed. I kept getting a visit from Service Manager; I now needed more than pads and rotors, later, I needed new fluid, this continued for about 6 hours! I get the bill for $1,150.00. The exact total is on my invoice. I tired, saw a salesman named Paul, I asked him to show ma a new car, Pacifica, Paul jumped to help me, I found out he was very new as a salesman. We did the whole nine yards, I bought the car, Paul told me it was his first sale. I was sold a Simoniz Glass Coat to protect my car . When I went back to have Glass Coat done, all I got was a typical car wash, water drops all over. I had asked one of the top people, like Sales Manger, etc. to look at my car he screamed at me saying he was busy, having a bad day. % minutes later the Financial Manger came to me in waiting room, he said he would take the car to be redone. Later, car was done, he pointed out the employee who did the Glass Coat, I knew he was fishing for me to tip him, but Spending over $1100.00 for brake service that passed 3 days before was sickening! I did not approve of one Manger screaming me as he was swamped. My new Salesman, forgot to put gas in my new car, he also didn't know how the screen worked? I asked him why I didn't see the back-up screen etc.? When he went to gas up my car later, the screen was working. I convinced another Manager to split the $1,100.00 bill for brakes. I have purchased a 4 oil change discount package, using only 1 oil change, Full Synthetic oil. Since I don't know where the Simoniz Glass Coat is, it cost me $ 799.00. Other employees always took the car to somewhere?? I regret this terribly : My Finance Dealer, Pentagon Federal Credit Union had my name and address wrong. It took me 3 months to convince PEN FED C/U to correct my name and address. And!! They had the nerve to list my February date as my date?? I was so Upset of PEN FED that I refused to sign their signature card or make a $5.00 to open an account. Well, Pen Fed said I needed to sign the card and deposit $5.00 as it was a requirement to make the loan period. I did not sign the card or deposit $5.00 So PEN FED broke their rules as to this day I have not become a member. I had sent PEN FED some Medical information about my past conservator ship, letters from Neurologists, letters from Superior Court in Alfred Maine. I have asked constantly for the return of those records, PEN FED claims to NOT have them. So my car purchase is worst ever.
