Even though I hate purchasing new cars, this was a great

Even though I hate purchasing new cars, this was a great experience. From the moment I walked on the lot the staff was engaging, knowledgable, respectful friendly and attentive. . Sales person Jon Becker was honest, not pushy, put me at ease, knew the product, fun to deal with and was very helpful at helping me sort through options on the van. Jon was willing to go above and beyond to put me at ease and made the experience a good one.

Salespeople are friendly, as you would expect.

Salespeople are friendly, as you would expect. Brief experience with the Service Dept left good impression. The problem is the product. Mercedes Benz enjoys a reputation of poor reliability and my experience certainly solidifies that fact. A mere three weeks after purchasing a Certified 2023 C300 it left me stranded at a gas station. Red warning light on the dash indicated a "Malfunction" and the car would not start. Embarrassing situation when others are patiently waiting in line to use the gas pump. That was after several technology issues including a clock that would not keep the correct time and Apple Car Play that would not connect. If you are set on owning a Mercedes I guess this is as good a dealership as you'll find but I would encourage you to consider a different manufacturer.

A car was listed on their site and auto trader

A car was listed on their site and auto trader (presumably ready for sale) and I submitted a request for total to purchase it as it had been just what I was looking for. I received nothing, so being eager I went on chat and was told that the car was just taken in as a trade so had not had it's service and thus not yet ready to be looked at. A sales man contacted me and said that as soon as it was out of its service check up he would let me know on the following Saturday. Saturday came and it was still not ready. Monday morning I get a video of the exterior of the car only, as he had no keys to get in so it wasn't even shown running. I asked for a purchase / Out the Door price so that I could put a down payment as soon as the car was inspected. This didn't come through until the afternoon, and within minutes I got another text saying sorry it's sold. Very poor treatment of customers... it is not extreme for a customer to want to know if the car even runs before placing a downpayment, which I was all to eager to do and made that clear from within minutes of them posting it.

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from this

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from this dealership. Mr Frank Caldwell was my salesman and we just loved him. He was more than helpful. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone! By the way 5 years ago on this date , Frank sold me a vehicle , he was great then and today we were lucky enough to have him in our corner helping us get the car of our dreams. So everyone go on down to Knoxville’s Mercedes Benz and ask for Frank Caldwell. He will definitely treat you right.

Excellent Customer Service

My experience with Bennie Barcroft was excellent. He answered all my questions quickly and put together a quote that was detailed and transparent. He was quick to answer follow-up questions and it was a pleasure to deal with him. I ended up not ordering a vehicle at this time due to high interest rates but will contact him first when I decide to do so.

My bill doubled without notifying me.

My bill doubled without notifying me. My new key was $600 labor $100. Great! When I arrived to pick my car up, I was told to pay almost $1400 with no explanation. Just shrugged shoulders from the sales person, talked to me like I was a child. Said he had to call Germany, cause programming the key takes satellites in the sky and signals from Germany and shoots down to Knoxville to my new key fod. He wasn’t joking. Just lying. Why did my bill double? Anyone?

Purchased a brand new 2023 GLC around 2 months ago.

Purchased a brand new 2023 GLC around 2 months ago. The car has 3300 miles and about every 10 starts will fail to start and ever check engine message on the cluster will appear leaving me stranded from anywhere to 15 to 60 minutes. Called Lexington Mercedes because it’s closer than Knoxville I live in a Kentucky. Took it in they had it 3 days I went to pick it up drove it less then a 100 miles and still same issues. I called Knoxville where I purchase the car, the first service rep hung up on me. So I called back and spoke to Gary the service manager, told me Mercedes would contact me within a few hours and set up a tow. No call from Mercedes, he also said he would call back the next morning to check on things. Never received a call, I called him back and now I’m being told I will be without a car for up to two weeks. When we purchased I was promised if we had any issues that it would be towed at their expenses and we would be given a loaner. Nothing I was told has happened Gary and Buck I’m sure you’re great guys but you have lost a life long customer I will never own another Mercedes and as soon as I get it fixed it will be trading back to BMW where they have always done anything I’ve ever asked or they promised. Thanks for the 60k dollar paper weight.
