Ford added its 2.

Ford added its 2.7 liter EcoBoost as an option for its Ranger pick up. A reputable dealer in Missouri tried for over a month to locate one for me. I called Lewis Ford last Thursday and their salesman (Billy D) called before the end of the day with a choice of five vehicles to choose from! Incredible service.

Very pleased about being greeted by a friendly person

Very pleased about being greeted by a friendly person when entering to get oil changed and service. Very helpful with answering questions. However, even after discussing getting the car washed after service, that did not happen. Please make sure if you are advertising the free car wash and you say you are going to wash it, don’t fall short and have to go back to get it! That is twice this has happened. I needed it washed to get the bird pooh off my collision warning camera too. That’s my only complaint!

We had a rather poor experience buying a used vehicle

We had a rather poor experience buying a used vehicle from Lewis Ford. They did not do everything they promised they would do. They delayed delivery of the vehicle multiple times and for a few days. They even delayed the delivery by days after we had already waited hours requiring an extra trip. As soon as we took delivery, and informed them of our dissatisfaction with the condition of the vehicle, they stopped responding to us. I don’t think I would ever come back to Lewis Ford again.

From the top to the salesman we had a great experience. We’ve been looking for a puppy hauler for over a month. FYI- I’ve bought vehicles from Lewis going back to the 70’s and went there first and I wasn’t surprise by the service from Taylor Lewis, Cale and Ethan. I highly recommend stopping by starting with exactly what your needs are and your budget. My first requirement was low mileage and they exceeded my expectations, secondly I prefer a local car and they exceeded that and found finally I wanted an exceptionally clean car ie physically, carfax, no wrecks and service records - check, check, check and check What I got was a one owner 2012 Jeep Cherokee Limited with 68,224 miles. Fun fact: Lewis sold this car originally!! Completely satisfied knock wood lol

I purchased a 2023 F-150 Platinum from them.

I purchased a 2023 F-150 Platinum from them. I wrote them a check for the full amount. Sent text to my broker to assure the funds were in that account. He was on vacation and did not get it. The check bounced. I had them contact him, but he could not write the check for me. I took a check to them (30-mile drive) after it was said to be okey, but because of "policy" regarding running a check through again they would not take it even though the local broker confirmed it was good. So, a transfer was arranged with my broker. Unfortunately, Ford messed it up by overstating the amount by about $1000.00. It has been over two weeks and I have not received the money back from them. I dropped by about a week ago and it was supposed to be either brought to me or sent in the mail. Yesterday, I called, and the salesman thought it has already been sent. He said he would check on it and call. He did not call. It was not in today's mail.
