This is the biggest joke car lot in not only suffolk but the state of virginia!! I mean you don't wanna know the BS they pulled on me???

I got a Kelly Blue Book quote (11K+) for a car I was...

I got a Kelly Blue Book quote (11K+) for a car I was looking to sell through Duke Automotive. When I took this very clean and dealer (in another state) maintained car in for them to review it before the final transaction, I got yanked around multiple times. After the initial meeting where they declined to purchase, the general manager asked what my lowest price would be and he'd pass it on to the owner to see if he'd be interested in purchasing it for that amount. I followed up a couple of weeks later, and was told "yes" that he'd like to purchase it for a figure a bit lower than I'd mentioned to the general manager. But whenever I'd look to confirm a time to bring the car in and finalize, he'd take several days to follow up, making many excuses. Finally he said I needed to bring the car in for another inspection (I'd already wasted an hour and a half a month before doing just that). He did not reply to my email to confirm the time, until I left a voicemail on the day I'd checked in about coming in for that second inspection. He then emailed me to say that after reviewing the notes from the general manager that had retired (and that Duke had initially emailed me saying that he didn't have...) that they weren't interested in purchasing the car. Either they were BSing me the whole time, or they are totally incompetent. Either way, I would not recommend anyone wasting their time with these grifters.

SORRY service dept.

Three and one half hours for an oil change and state inspection. With an appointment. Unacceptable and uncalled for. Beyond anything I would have imagined. I will NEVER return to this dealership for ANYTHING. If they were giving away FREE cars OR FREE service, I would NOT return.

Self righteous sales personnel.

Just looking at vehicles at the Suffolk fair and the Sales guy there was very rude pushy and ignorant. Would neeeeeeever recommend this dealer if thats who they put at a fair to front line their dealer. I was just showing my wife how the tailgate on the new GMC works and he pushed me out of the way and took over the conversation. Should have pulled a cop over to rectify the situation but hey please take what I say to heart this isnt a good dealership to go to if they act this way.

Bad service

I would not recommend this business to an enemy much less a friend. The VP Eley was very unprofessional dealing with my family and friend. Currently they are holding a 2019 vehicle there that has been there for work since early MAY it is late AUG. And still not near complete. New vehicle new parts and they are claiming " Difficult to fix" maybe you need better service team to do the work. I give this business ZERO stars. This is unacceptible business.

What is this?

Always a pleasure (if you can call car shopping a pleasure) dealing with Duke Automotive. Never any pressure to purchase. Sales team is genuinely interested in matching up the buyer with their needs. Thanks, Duke.

They never contacted me again

Have been waiting to get my vehicle in for service, they were supposed to contact me and haven't heard from them. I called and left a message and still have not heard from them.

Service

Great. Had an appointment scheduled to get my oil changed and tires rotated. Service coordinator was kind and friendly (as always)
