I bought a beautiful Lincoln from a salesman named
I bought a beautiful Lincoln from a salesman named Daniel. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The main requirement that I asked for when I was sitting down with him, was an extended warranty because the car had 81,000 miles on it. He went and spoke with someone, came back and said that it qualified for the extended warranty and that it would simply be added into my payments. We went over what it covered and he said the financial department would go over it further with me. Next we sat down in the office of the financial manager and I repeated my same requirement for getting the car. He stated that this was not a problem to add and he gave me my payment information. It was more than what I wanted to pay, and he said that he could extend the time frame of the loan and therefore lower my monthly payments. I was pleased to hear this and then "signed on the line" so to speak. Fast forward to my second free oil change when the tech tells me that they have found an oil leak on the car. I'm upset but say "go ahead and schedule it, its covered under my warranty." The lady is looking over my paperwork and tells me that I do NOT have a warranty. I am dumbfounded, and begin to argue that YES I do. She has me go and speak with the finance guy. He looks and says, "Oh, we got you an extra 5 years of oil changes. Its what we call an extended warranty when you don't get the _____ package. (I can't remember if he called it gold or platinum). I was livid! I was scammed in my opinion. I was very specific that I wanted bumper to bumper warranty due to the higher mileage on the car. I asked if we could add it, since they lied to me about what they were selling me. He said NO, because "a leak has now been found, and you will have to be responsible for that." Now, lets jump forward to one year later, getting my oil changed and the tech tells me that I have 6 changes left in the system. I tell him that I was told that I have 5 YEARS that I purchased. He shows me that no, I only have 6 left. The LIES and SCAMS that have taken place from this dealership is unreal. I'm to the point that I hate my car, because I associate it with the thievery of this dealership. Avoid Swope, esp Swope Nissan at all costs! My next car will NOT be with them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely regret that you feel misled, and we understand how frustrating it must be to believe you were purchasing one product, only to later discover it was something else. Your trust is important to us, and we take concerns like this very seriously. Part of the vehicle purchase process includes a menu presentation, which is standard practice across reputable dealerships. During this step, customers are presented with a variety of optional products designed to protect their investment—such as extended warranties, maintenance packages, GAP coverage, and more. At this point in the process: Customers are given time to review each option. All coverage details and pricing are explained. Customers are encouraged to ask questions so they can make informed decisions. Our goal is to ensure every customer fully understands what they are purchasing and how it benefits them. We are currently reviewing the details of your situation internally to determine where the breakdown may have occurred, and we encourage you to reach out directly so we can resolve any outstanding concerns. Again, we’re sorry this experience has caused you frustration, and we appreciate the opportunity to address it constructively. Sincerely, Swope Nissan Management Team

Power Train System
My 2015 Armada engine light came on and I took it to SWOPE Nissan to have it serviced. The first time they told me that there was a broken pipe on the fuel tank which caused the fault light to come on. So I paid about $2500 for a new tank. After 7 days the fault light came on again. They fixed the problem briefly after repairs. Then after 10 days the fault light came on again, this time they said it was because the fuel filler was deformed, and they charged me another $941. It cost me about $3500 in less than a month and I don't know if this will be the last time. I feel treated differently.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review and we have researched your service records from the mentioned dates. The parts that were billed to your ticket were the correct parts for your VIN. Our Parts Department internal invoices also show we used the correct parts and fluids. We keep these records for several reasons, inventory audits and tracking inventory supply and use. We have to keep these records to show where every part was used or fluid that was used. When our service department works on a vehicle and has parts to install, they will get a separate ticket to ensure the correct parts are issued for the vehicle they are working on at the time. All our records indicate that the correct fluid and parts were billed and used in the servicing of your Nissan.
