Call if mechanic is not in that can check my car so that I don't have to drive 45 minutes to get there and never have the issue checked. The oil change and 25000 service could have waited.

I purchased my new 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 se I am the

I purchased my new 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 se I am the soul owner was until I had to sell it to the junkyard for $650 jan 2025 after it sat park inoperable since fall 2023. I was satisfied and pleased with my purchase, car reliability, performance, efficiency, dependable and the service they were providing for my warranties. It’s what happened after I hit 100,000 miles. In the spring of 2023 at one of my routine oil changes they have my car half the day because when replacing to oil plug they stated they lost the plug and put a spare plug from the shop in and they had been trying most the day to stop the leakthat It had reduced it to a slow steady drip. To watch for oil spots and to add about a quart a week until it could be replaced. new oil pan 1200 -$1300. I would need half payment before they would order the oil pan that would take a week or so to arrive. I said i would be in touch in a day or so. I took it to a family members mechanic for a second opinion. He confirmed that there was a leak and an oil plug that didn’t fit. My pan was in it that I would need a new oil pan to stop the leak so I agreed to leave it and allow them to fix it. 1 1/2 days later I paid 1350 for the replacement of the oil pan and oil. I did not take my car back to , Express Lube until the following fall when my daughter and I were having sputtering gas problems around Thanksgiving and we thought we had bad gas and I called them and told them the symptoms and they told us to bring thecars down. (Sidenote since 2019 when I purchased my car and they told me to take it to Express Lube I started giving them my 5 children’s cars for their maintenance as well.) they tested my daughters car it cleared no codes. they tested my car it coded they say that mine coded a transmission issue. That he needed 250 to perform the deeper diagnostic. That would show him two things if it would be a $2500 fix or a $9000 replacement for the transmission. I got a little upset I asked how bad gas can do that and did anything need flushed He said it wasn’t bad gas. And a transmission flush was not recommended At high miles because he cannot debris loose. He said that it was because my car had 165,000 miles on it and transmissions just go out and state that I was lucky that mine lasted as long as it did that he doesn’t seem too many last that long and if he was me, he would just trade it in. Literally my jaw hit the floor. I might have to get back with him on that. I asked if it was safe to drive he released both vehicles and I paid my daughter $75 bill and my $75 bill for the diagnostics. She drove her car home safely. I struggled to get mine home. It would not accelerate from a stop. It took so long to get going. I nearly got hit in some intersections. I took it home And parked it.. that was the scariest drive home I ever had. I have been trying to talk with them talk with the dealership with the mechanics. I’m trying to see what I can do since fall of 23. I went directly in to the gentleman that sold it to me in 24 summer because I had research my documents and I was questioning if there should’ve had more one transmission flush at 60,000 miles I believe The only one he did . He and another gentleman in the office said that they believe their mechanic was a good mechanic and that he did not think he neglected my warranty and my car wasn’t worth 9000 he said his educated guess It wasn’t worth $3500 with 165,000 miles on it in very good condition. I said last fall at 14500 when I was researching if it was worth putting the 9000 into it. they said they couldn’t give me $9000 for it. said he would get back with me after he spoke with his mechanic. I waited again, patiently about a month. I Call back he said he just got off vacation and he would get back with me. Still waiting -5 stars for service to me/warr/car/ -5 awful

We are very sorry that it has taken this long to respond to your review. We were searching our records for a Judy Kirk, which was not accurate. After an extensive search, we were able to locate your service records. Regarding the oil change you sight in your review, we did not lose your oil plug – the threads in your oil pan were worn or stripped to the point where the screw that goes into the oil pan would not screw securely and oil would leak out. That is why we quoted you the price for a replacement oil pan. The quote you were given to replace the oil pan, with an oil change, was $560 plus tax. There may have been some confusion regarding the price of the new oil pan because the quote also contained pricing for two new tires as well. When you returned to our store in December of 2023 with what you thought was a “bad gas” problem, our technician diagnosed codes being thrown by the transmission and advised you in order to do a thorough diagnostic on the transmission, it would cost an additional diagnostic fee which you declined. With regard to transmission flushes, flushes are not a covered item under the Mitsubishi warranty that accompanies a new vehicle purchase. We do sincerely apologize for the poor facilitation of communication on our part – we should have done a more thorough job of explaining all these items so there was no misunderstanding. And again, we apologize for the delay in this response. - Expressway Mitsubishi

I feel the $3000 market adjustment due to the lot being low on inventory was a scummy move. That will probably be the determining factor in my never buying another Mitsubishi. How is that my issue at a cost of $3000. Just another scummy dealership charge to screw the customers over.

We are sorry you are not completely satisfied with the purchase of your new Mitsubishi. Due to the shortage of vehicles the market pricing has yet to reflect these increases. For this reason, most dealers have a small markup due to supply we are receiving and the demand for these vehicles outweighing that supply. This was disclosed to you at the time of purchase. - Expressway Mitsubishi
