Hulett Chevy Buick GMC

My truck was leaking coolant and accordingly, my heater stopped working correctly. Hulett Automotive not only fixed the leak, but offered suggestions on how to keep this situation from happening again. They were great.

I responded to an ad on the Cars For Sale site for an 1981 Jeep CJ5 offered for sale by Hulett Motors in Camdenton Missouri. I had numerous emails and telephone conversations with the sales consultant Jon Liou concerning the condition and driveability of this vehicle. The Jeep being sold had no rust on the frame, no problems mechanically and to quote one email “ this is not a project jeep”. It was the fact that the vehicle was being sold by a GM dealership that prided itself on its 50 year history of sales and service that convinced me to go ahead with the purchase. The price agreed to was good based on the information I had believed to be accurate. I also have a copy of the Missouri Motor Vehicle Inspection Approval Notice issued by Hulett Motors as an inspection station stating no defects. When I finally got the vehicle in my possession and to my mechanic for a safety inspection is when its true state became apparent. The brakes needed a considerable amount of work to meet the minimum inspection guidelines. The most devastating part was the amount of rust on the jeeps frame. An inspection by a body shop to patch the problem areas came back as a total frame failure. I sent Jason Hulett ( dealership owner) this information and was told that the price it was sold at made it VERY competitive in the market. He would not answer for the fact that his dealership had lied about the vehicle condition to make a sale and issued a passed inspection notice. I am now having to have the frame replaced at a cost equal to the selling price of the jeep, or sell the vehicle “as is” which it should have been advertised as initially. Do not trust this dealership to stand behind its sales and be wary of any certification generated in house.

As my salesman, Jon went out of his way to listen to my needs and try to meet them, without trying to push something on me. He showed me options which would meet most of my wants while trying to meet a list of needs to probably don't exist in one vehicle! I really enjoyed talking with him and his knowledge was helpful in allowing me to understand what I was truly looking for.

Mike is a great sales person he is really funny and is a great listener. when it comes to cars he is honest and to the point.

2017 sierra truck has hard shifting issues and no power and then surging issues, does not show a code so I am told by dealership their is nothing they can do. Will probably be a short term owner and will not purchase another GM truck

We found online the vehicle we were looking for. They have texted with us every day during the buying process. We have decided to purchase from Hulett, put down a deposit, and submitted everything for the paper work. So far so good! Only thing left is to pick up the vehicle - trusting that will continue our 5-star experience!

Bought a hard-to-find car from another state, then flew in to collect it. Hulett's salesman Terre was super-helpful, sending images, answering questions and working with me while I explored financing options and arranged third party finance. When I got there, the car was clean, shiny, had new tires and a new battery all at no extra cost, the paperwork was ready and I was on the road in under an hour. Excellent, friendly, first-class service! Highly recommended and in such a pretty area of the country too!

Completly satisfied with purchase and trade in experience. Had been shopping since dec. of 2015 with dealers in Waynseville, Lebanon, Sedalia, Jefferson City and Columbia. Was finally made to feel comfortable with Hulet in Camdenton. The experience was excellent on on all levels, purchase and trade in. I use this dealership for my daughters Saturn SL2 and they always offer great service without gouging you. It's hard these days to find a dealership that doesn't try to sell you service or parts you don't need but this dealership is trustworthy and they do great work. I highly recommend them and always take my daughter's car here. Just wish they worked on Fords so I could take the rest of our cars here!
