Failure at every encounter

Called for service Quote. Destiny was a delightful and very helpful. Phoned back in minutes with price. Decided to have work done. Phoned to schedule appointment. The man on the phone was quite rude as stated Destiny should of had me call parts dept. to order the parts and not too schedule an appointment. Had to call back for parts department. Automated answering machine took message said they would call back after lunch. Next day I call them back having not received a return call. Called automated answering machine left message no return message. Hour later automated answering machine took message again no return message. How many times must I turn the other cheek? Going to another dealership. Bought my Chevy week Chevy in Benton salesman was great. Have always had issues with the service department service manager & parts department. Apparently they don't need my business. how hard is it to return phone calls and be considerate respectful to their customers. Rethink patronizing this establishment. General manager and owner are not doing their jobs. Their service staff in part is not properly trained. My wife has gone in there on six occasions for an oil change. Presenting Chevy oil change sales promotions. With only getting the run around and being overcharged. I feel sorry for the competent employees that work there having to deal with such incompetent management.

They'll give you the wrong repair and take your $$

Unfortunately the horror stories about the service department are true. These guys screwed me out of $5,000. I was on a road trip and broke down in Benton due to shifting issues on the highway. I brought my vehicle in to Weeks and they told me the transmission was in bad shape and needed to be replaced. Pretty surprising considering it’s a 2016 vehicle with less than 100k miles. I asked if there was any additional troubleshooting they could do and they told me nope, they were confident that was it. $3800 later I picked up the vehicle. Within an hour I broke down with the EXACT SAME issues I had when I brought it in. And the computer was even throwing the exact same code as before. Not only was I out the $3800, but I was stranded far from home. I had to find a place to stay, pay for a rental car, find a competent dealership to do the proper fix, and I ended up missing two days of work. Once at a dealership that actually knew what they were doing, they found an issue with the Powertrain Control Module, which is completely separate from the transmission and of course not covered by the new transmission’s warranty. Ultimately this was a $600 repair and the vehicle has been fine ever since. I notified Weeks of everything that happened and they didn’t offer anything more than an insincere “sorry for your inconvenience”. They did not apologize for missing the PCM, choosing an extremely expensive repair without thorough diagnosis, or the additional $1k in costs I incurred by being stranded on the highway far from home. They did not offer a single cent to help pay for the costs I incurred due to their failures. They just kept repeating that they’re “confident in their analysis.” Who cares if you’re confident in your analysis if the analysis is obviously wrong? My symptoms were literally unchanged after giving them $3800. I’d stay far away unless you also want to pay for expensive, unnecessary repairs and any additional costs that come from that.

Not right. NOT SAFE!!

Showed me a truck with 3 very low tires and a check engine light on. Refuses to fill up tires or read code before the test drive with a 7 month pregnant woman. Said they would accept a offer then calls back saying they wouldn't accept anything less than x amount $1,000 higher than previous offer plus TTL. Truck has several issues between wiper motor that doesnt work, check engine light, interior lights dont work, 3 tires going flat, and that just covers the safety side of it...........

It was 530 PM when you arrived and our service department was closed so we had no way to diag. the check engine light at that time . However, per your request we did diag. it at 930 the next morning. Also, I don't recall our salesperson holding a gun to your head and forcing you to test drive the truck. If the air pressure it the tires was such a safety concern why would you have driven it and allowed your wife to ride in it? As far as the price goes you offered 46 percent less than we had it advertised for. We had the truck advertised for 3995 and you offered 1750 plus tax and fees. I am sorry we could not get together on the price but that does not justify the comments you have made and your overreaction

Best Car Dealer in Southern IL!

I have purchased 2 vehicles from Travis Severin at Weeks in the last 6 months. Easiest decision I’ve ever had to make buying a car with no pressure whatsoever. He found exactly what I was looking for and at the right price. I WILL NOT BUY ANYWHERE ELSE! Will, Travis, and the others at Weeks in Benton are the best in Southern Il hands down! GREAT SERVICE!!!

Have been using service department since March 2017. Started going there because the new service manager had taken care of my vehicle at a dealership in Carbondale. The entire dealership is knowledgeable, friendly and courteous! No better service department in southern Illinois, despite their small size! They bend over backwards to accommodate you. When they are several days out on scheduling, I prefer to wait for them to get my work done. Every experience with them has been outstanding!

Horrible

Service manager is horrible almost as if she is better then you. Say the way she treated her employees and wow is all I can say I’ve seen dogs treated better on the street. Lies about finish times and when you have a problem with your repair doesn’t want to get you back in for another appointment her schedule goes from open to full 2 weeks out once there’s a problem and your not satisfied. Cashier was very polite is only thing good about my last visit

Awful and screwed me over with no lube

Screwed me over good. No lube. Bring a mechanic with you before you buy cause they won't keep their word on anything..screwed me cause I'm a woman

Excellent customer service!

We had a great shopping and buying experience from start to finish at this dealership. We love our new purchase. John Melvin is very friendly and an overall great salesman. Since our purchase he has taken the time several times to check with us to make sure everything is still going well with our new vehicle.
