Insulting, Disrespectful, Misleading
I requested a best-price on a Rav4 that was listed on Cars.com at $28,825. The "Exclusive Offer" came back at $30,659 which was the MSRP minus a $1,000 Toyota incentive. When I told them that was insulting, their salesman sarcastically said I was being dramatic since the price was "below MSRP". I checked Toyota's website. They have the Rav4 incentive listed as $1,250, not $1,000 in Indiana.

I wished I could give them 0 stars. They have the shady sales tactics. They flattered me with a great online price but when I arrived they wouldn't honor and share with me the out door price. The even tried to add packages I didnt request. When I request the itemized invoice on the price out the door the sales person redirect the conversation to a monthly payment. I again told them that would work itself out as I needed to know finally price. The sales person again asked me if I was comfortable with the 8 year finance at the monthly payments. I again requested the total purchased price. When he try to redirect me to another question I simple asked if he was going to answer my question. He then insulted me and a relative. We then walked out as he continued to insult us. I went to another dealership and the answered all questions and meet my request. I will never do business with this dealership!!!

Jeff Wyler Clarksville is the reason that companies like Carvana and Vroom are becoming so popular. I spent more than 2 hours there with them refusing to return the keys to my car. I was looking at, and wanting to purchase a 2021 Rav4 Limited for my wife. We decided on the vehicle and proceeded to discuss numbers. I advised what I was willing to pay and the value expected for my trade. I advised my salesperson that these were what was required to earn my business. After 2 trips between the office and me, I ask for my keys, as it was clear they were not willing or able to meet the numbers I requested. The Sales Manager came out to discuss and I again ask for my keys. He advised he was unaware of what numbers I was looking for (I had clearly written them on the first offer). I gave them to him again and he agreed to meet those terms and ask that we start the credit application. We completed the credit application and they brought back the sell sheet with completely different numbers, while trying to add in several packages I had already said I did not want. Now they had hit my credit (five inquiries), and had lied to me about agreement on the offer to purchase. They still refused to give me my keys. The visit ended with me loudly advising other potential customer that they should leave before getting screwed with like I did. I would not recommend this place to someone I didn't like. Toyota should look at more than just the sales numbers and review dealerships tactics. This experience has ensured that I am not buying a Toyota and will never buy from a Jeff Wyler dealership.

Wyler couldnt care less
So I bought a 2019 certified pre-owned Tacoma from Jeff Wyler on Saturday and I specifically asked if the vehicle had two keys because the vehicle has the push to start ignition and those keys are expensive and Al said it did have two keys, but when I took the vehicle he handed me one keyless transmitter and one key blade that only opens the tailgate and the door but will not start the vehicle, this was not a big deal (yet) I figured ok I’ll just have to buy the key myself. Then I get the vehicle home and on Monday I get a call, apparently they sold me a certified pre-owned vehicle but didn’t do the inspection to make sure that the vehicle I had already bought wasn’t a lemon or had major issues. Again not a big deal I used to be a mechanic (for Toyota) and I know the inspection doesn’t take that long but I live in Mt. Washington Kentucky so Al said he would bring me a truck to drive and he would bring the truck back tomorrow (Tuesday). I asked if I could get the key made while the truck was being taken in for the inspection since I really wanted this key, Al again said he would get someone to call me to get this taken care of no big deal. They bring me a Camry with hail damage and broken windshield that was also dirty inside to “drive around” while they fix my truck. Well I never received my truck Tuesday so I texted Al Wednesday and asked where my truck was and why hasn’t anyone called me about my key? He said they were “backed up” in service (for an inspection??) and that he would bring me my truck Thursday afternoon, so I asked again about the key and he said the key would be $100 so I asked who I could call to pay the $100 for the key so I could get it taken care of before they bring the truck back. Never got a call or reply back about the key the rest of the day. So now it’s Thursday and I get a text that he is going to finally bring my truck back but what about the key???? I asked again and he said to call service, so I call speak to the receptionist who transfers me to service who transfers me to the parts department who tells me the key is not $100 it’s $280 for just the key I’d also have to pay to have it programmed. So I tell Al to just bring me my truck and I’ll buy the key later to which his reply was I’m already headed to you (with out even giving me time to check on the key myself so I could get it done before he brings the truck back). Take what you want from this post but as far as I can tell Wyler Care seems more like Wyler couldn’t care less. I know I definitely do not recommend anyone go through the headache and mess that I just went through. Revision*** I have now got my truck back in my possession and I specifically asked (even put it on a sticky note along with the note about getting a price on the key), since they were already going to have the truck if they could fix the dome lights that were not working when I bought the vehicle (it was just a fuse I already found the popped fuse) but they didn’t fix it, so much for a “Certified pre-owned” inspection, they didn’t even check the dome lights to see if they worked. Shouldn’t this repair be covered by the warranty???? Guess they don’t care.

Friendly staff for out of state shopping experienc
Came from out of state for a use car. Was treated very kind by both the internet sales manager Ryne and the salesman Gene. They were less pushy and more willing to accommodate the long-distance purchase than other dealerships we interacted with. We agreed to a deal sight unseen allowing for the drive in. They were very hospitable and had all necessary paperwork ready for a quick deal after the test drive. Anyone I interacted with was kind, courteous and helpful. Happy with the new (to us) car and the buying experience with Wyler.

new car purchase
Very poor customer service in regards to issues with the car purchase. It seems at the time of purchase Toyota had no tow hitch. I was never informed of this. An issue with the sales tax resulted in me having to pay another $250 to KY. When I questioned the new car manager about the tax difference, he stated "He didn't do taxes, He just sold cars". Well, he got that right because selling the car is all that he was interested in. Forget any kind of customer assistance and inquiry. My experiences with other Indiana dealerships has been that the registration and licensing were done for the purchaser. I was incredulous that they wanted ME to pick up the paperwork as opposed to mailing it. I will NEVER recommend Jeff Wyler dealerships nor will I ever purchase a car from them again. I should have paid attention to all the reviews.

Lack of Customer service
I had some issues pertaining to my sales tax charged and towing capabilities. It seems Toyota has not devised a hitch for my model and using an aftermarket hitch poses an issue. I was never informed before my purchase. Despite virus issues the dealership did not take care of acquiring my plates like any other dealership I've gone to in Indiana. They were even reluctant to mail my final paperwork as wanting me to pick it up. When I asked the manager why the discrepancy on the sales tax the reply was...." I am not a tax person I just sell cars" You're right, ALL you want to do is sell the car and not provide any kind of customer service. I WILL NEVER recommend or purchase from a Jeff Wyler dealership again. Stay away.

Tried to add $1300 to the sale price after the test drive. The additions were listed as accessories but they refused to remove the fees. i appreciated them bringing the car to us to test drive but talk about sticker shock. With tax, license, fees and these “accessories” they want almost $2000 above price listed on internet. No thank you!!
