Long time owner
This visit was caused by a broken side mirror. The Parts Dept. was quick, friendly and walked me through the ordering as well as interfacing with the Service Deot to arrange the installation. Brad was able to get me scheduled within two days to avoid my having to go on a trip with a broken mirror. I have always had a celkent service and this occasion was no exception. Thank you!

Laurie Hinton and the staff are just the best, absolutely wonderful. They go out of there way for their customers, they explain everything that they are going to do, and they are absolutely honest with the work that needs to b done. I would recommend Schmitt always.

New car purchase
I had never been to this dealership befor. They treat you like family.There where some imperfections on my new car. Chris went out of his way to get them corrected. Even gave me a brand new car as a loaner not some beat up piece of crap to drive around in. They gave me a good deal on my trade in and have called to check on me to make sure everything is going well with my car and make sure I'm happy with it. Besides getting a better price on the new car then any place around. I researched vehicles on the internet befor I went and spoke with them. The price on the internet was the price on the car. Lowest price guarantee. I live 80 miles from the dealership.Well worth the drive. I've already recommended them to some friends that are looking for a new vehicle at the best price. Save the one $10,000 same as me. Try and find a better price or friendlier salesperson. Chris is awesome.

I knew what I wanted to look at. I was shown the car and the salesman, Chris, was very aware of my time as well as my needs. I told him what I wanted to pay and also what I needed for my trade in. I was not made to sit and wait long while my car was driven and trade in value was given. I was very pleased with the friendliness as well as professionalism of the entire staff.

Sales associate was very knowledgeable and helpful
Dealership was great to work with. Our sales associate, Laurie was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and great to work with. We've purchased multiple cars in the past at different dealerships and have ways had bad experiences. Not with Ford in collinsville, it was the best vehicle buying experience we've had and will buy again from them in the future.

fair price, but watch for "tricks on warranty and loan terms
Ben Firnkes in finance said we could extend the 3year 36000mi warranty to 10year 100000mi, while signing papers we noticed it was not a Ford warranty (we felt missled), also we were comparing to another dealer with same down payment and 60mo. loan, Ben's payments were cheaper (while signing loan papers WE noticed that the loan was for a longer term) it just reinforced the "car salesman " stereotype. Also salesman Chris Wheeler was to install a spoiler and get me splash guards at dealer cost,( no cost to dealer just a perk for me). The spoiler was a fair price and looks great but he tried to sell me splash guards at retail price( i checked with another dealer about dealer cost). Chris' excuse was that Sales, Parts, and Service are all seperate businesses and that is what his parts man was charging him. I don't care about there business set up i just know every door i walked through said JACK SCHMITT FORD/LINCOLN, "the DEALER". So i went to my local Ford dealer and ordered splash guards at full price from them. We love the car and paid a fair price, but the "experience" could have been better.

Travis was the best!
Yesterday I was a bummed out owner of a 2009 Chevy Aveo. Today, thanks to Travis Bricker I am the proud owner of a 2014 Ford Escape. When I initially called Jack Schmitt I informed the gentleman on the other side that I have walked away from 4 other dealerships in St. Louis and refuse to work with anyone who was pushy, impatient, or rude. The gentleman introduced himself as Travis and assured me he was patient, no pressure, and certainly not rude. I am delighted to say that he was true to his word. I will happily recommend any friends and family to Travis and the Jack Schmitt family.
