    Halfway on our 4 hour trip to the beach we hit a tractor trailer tire in our Camaro and the service dept at Hertrich Chevy in Easton couldn't have been better! They fit us into their schedule and made the minor repairs needed to save our vacation! Super friendly, very helpful, and definitely knows what they're doing! A++

    As I started my search for a quality, reliable used car with low mileage, decent options and some kind of manufacturer's warranty, I assumed that I'd have to travel quite a distance from my small town. Wouldn't I have to go to a very large dealership to find the inventory, the expertise and the ability to "give the best price?" Lucky for me, I stopped at Hertrich Chev in Denton, MD on may way to a larger dealer (just to take a quick look). I'm so glad I did.... First I met Kevin Phelan. He's not your typical "used car sales person". He LISTENED. He asked questions. He followed through and didn't "push." Instantly, I trusted him as he steered me away from a car that was on the "high end" of my range as he thought a less expensive car might be a better fit based on what I had told him. He was honest about the potential draw backs of the make/model that I was getting serious about and offered me other choices without being pushy. After I found "the car," I decided to quickly compare at another dealership. Kevin didn't flinch. He simply smiled and said, "I hope we see you back." Going to the second dealership was not only a waste of time, but the exact opposite of the experience described above- pushy sales person who wouldn't even give me a price until I would agree to "get registered for the sale." Ummm.... no, thank you. Ironically, I found a car at this second dealer that was comparable to what Kevin had to offer, but with a few less miles, and slightly LOWER in price. Here's why I went back to Hertrich... 1. Kevin Phelan deserved the sale. He was a consultant, and I know that I will be able to trust that he will follow through on the few items that we still have outstanding (they owe me a service on the car for an issue that came up on the test drive). 2. The manager, Irv-- just like Kevin... honest, not pushy, and offered me some "deal matches" that the other dealership offered (like my first oil change for free). 3. Small town, keep it local.... I proudly serve on the Town Council of Denton, MD, and love to support our local business owners. I'm pleased that Hertrich Chev is here. (I also hear that they are building a bigger dealership here locally over the next year). Please... if you are looking for a car, new or used... check out Hertrich in Denton, and ask for Kevin Phelan!
