Disappointing Experience with Hubler Ford We purchased a 2023 GMC Acadia from Hubler Ford on May 26, 2026. Since we live 2½ hours away, we made the trip expecting the vehicle to be in the condition it had been represented. When we arrived at the dealership to purchase the vehicle, we immediately noticed multiple scratches, dents, and paint damage that had not been disclosed beforehand. The inside of the vehicle also had a strong odor and clearly needed to be detailed. Rather than making the trip home and starting the process over, we moved forward with the purchase. After taking the vehicle home, we had to have it detailed, buffed, and painted to address the condition it was in. Then, only one month later, on June 27, 2026, the check engine light came on. We took the vehicle to GMC Lafayette for diagnosis and service. The vehicle was found to have an EVAP purge system issue, which was repaired under the powertrain warranty. During that repair, the service department at GMC Lafayette discovered that the camshaft seal and gasket were leaking. We were informed that this repair was not covered under warranty and would cost approximately $3,000. What is especially concerning is that we later obtained the dealership’s inspection report dated March 23, 2026, which states that the seals and gaskets were inspected before the vehicle was sold. We purchased the vehicle on May 26, and just one month later we were facing a major engine-related repair. It is difficult to understand how a vehicle could pass inspection and require such a significant repair so soon after purchase. We expected Hubler Ford to stand behind a vehicle that developed a major issue shortly after we bought it. Instead, we were told we were completely responsible for the expense, and no meaningful effort was made to help resolve the situation or restore our confidence in the purchase. The overall sales and customer service experience was equally disappointing. Communication was consistently difficult, obtaining documentation took days, and we repeatedly had to follow up for information and updates. We also felt rushed through the sales process and even left the dealership without all of our paperwork. Another concern is transparency. We were unable to leave a review on the dealership’s Facebook page because reviews appear to be disabled. My husband shared our experience in the comments on a Hubler Ford Facebook post, but his comment was later removed and his account was blocked from the page. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Hubler Ford. We encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to carefully review all inspection records, ask detailed questions, and consider having the vehicle independently inspected before buying. We worked with Brandon Reed and Spencer Wilson would not recommend

Austin made that the fastest and easiest car buying experience I have ever had. If I was in the market to get another car I would work with him again.
