Really wish I had read the reviews of this dealership
Really wish I had read the reviews of this dealership before walking in the door. Horrible experience. They are the definition of "used car salesman". We were purchasing a car in cash and their finance group required us to run credit. They wasted over three hours of our time running back and forth to run numbers that should have never changed. Entire transaction felt underhanded and crooked. Would not recommend this dealership; please look at the other options. We purchased my husbands Kia from Red Rocks Kia and had a wonderful experience so it is not Kia - it is just this dealership that is horrible.

Shady and Deceitful Finance Team
Although my experience with the sales team and Adam Z was great helping me order and take delivery of a new 2023 GT-Line K5, the finance team was very disappointing. Chelsea claimed I could review my contract and call if there was anything I didn't like. So rather than read through all 70 pages in that moment, after waiting hours to take delivery of my car, I took her word for it. Later that night as I was reviewing my contract, I didn't like the "non-cancelable" service contracts that were added to my purchase price and of course when I called Chelsea wasn't helpful in getting them removed. I had to go above her to get one removed and had to fight even harder to get the second one removed, and after getting the second contract removed the Dealer refused to process the cancelation and resubmitted it. My suggestion is to take your business elsewhere, which is what I did for the purchase of my wife's new 2023 X-Line EX Sorento. My experience at Foundation Kia purchasing my wife’s car was 10x better than Arapahoe Kia. Arapahoe Kia would rather lose business over a service contract, than have a valued customer who planned to buy a second car within a couple months. Hopefully Kia Corporate starts to do a better job holding poor dealerships with shady tactics more accountable, it ruins the experience of a company trying to enhance its brand.

It’s been a few years since I bought a new car, so I thought things had changed. Apparently they haven’t. Went to test drive a KIA Forte that was advertised on their website. Scott even called me while I was in route to make sure I was still coming in. When I got there, Scott told me that the car I wanted had been broken into the night before and was in the shop. What a coincidence ! He had another for me to test drive, but it was a totally different model for $5000 more. The old bait and switch just like the in the vacation movie. Count your fingers when you leave this dealer

Run, this dealer is the pits for service.
My Check engine light came on and no dealers near me could see it for 2+ weeks so decided to give this dealership a try. Was able to get an appointment promptly. Asked to drop it off the night before due to forecasted snow. They agreed and I did. Marc was our service advisor. He was rude and condescending when I asked about a possible recall that was posted. He also snapped at the mechanic in front of us. He had never heard of the maintenance request I asked for which is posted in the manual for every 22000 miles. I left frustrated but, with few options to get my car fixed quickly. I called the dealership and requested a new service advisor but, heard nothing back. They did look at my car the same day and fixed the engine light with a tsb bulletin advisory. They also said my car needs more than $1000 worth of maintenance work including coolant flush(60k) , spark plugs(90k), automatic transmission fluid flush (60k), alignment, filters, and fuel injection system cleaning (25k). This is BS. My car is at 93k. Owners manual states Coolant is not due until 120 and plugs 105. ATF is not recommended for my vehicle. Alignment was done through tire dealer 2 months ago. I can do my own filters for a lot less than $137. When asked about the discrepancy between their timeline and the manual, he admitted that it is the dealers recommended time frame. They are trying to make money off people who don’t know better. They also marked a belt as possibly needing attention that was just changed by a mechanic in the last couple of months. They also added fluid when it was not needed. When I received the report. I requested a call back at 4:30 and 5:30 to discuss. Dealer closes at 6. Nothing until 8a the next day. Advisor continued to be rude and condescending and could give no info on the items marked up on the inspection. I was told my car would not be ready until late this afternoon for the engine clutch actuator fluid. They would call me at noon for a pickup time. No call by 2p. Called. Service provider was Mia. No one could help me. Left message. Still no call back at 3p. I live an hour away and need to plan pickup around rush hour. Car was ready when I arrived with no call. Manager also continues to be mia. Once I get my car back, never again will I come here. Plenty of other dealers to choose from. I also now fully understand why this dealer is so poorly rated.

Owned by Dealing Doug. " Enough Said"
The service advisor was rude and hang up on me when I questioned the validity of his statement. The sales department is not much better. Kia wants to go upscale but the dealerships are stuck in the 90s

This place is filled with salesmen that fulfill the stereotype. I’m going to list only the facts of my dealings with two individuals there: I took my car to my mechanic before purchase. Glad i did because there were problems. I screenshot the issues and text to Eric who I was purchasing the vehicle from to discuss. They were supposed to do an oil change which i have this in text the agreement with Eric prior to my purchase. Eric said they would change out the tires from another vehicle. I point blank asked Jared “and the alignment” to which he verbatim stated “they will do it with the tires”. For time saving while signing the documents they said they would take the car to do the tire exchange and “alignment” (which were severe issues on my mechanics finding— bald tires hidden medically on the vehicle which is a safety issue). I walked out to my new vehicle and turned it on only to find they still hadn’t done the oil. I called this out to Eric whose response was “weren’t you going to get an oil change” I said no you were supposed to do it. He seemed to forget we have a text convo which I have saved where he said he would. Please keep in mind they have me signing all these documents without knowing where my vehicle is but assuming they are doing what we verbally agreed to. I came back the next day for oil and prior to my arrival, requested the alignment documentation and informed them that when they put the tires on that the PSI was not registering and it needed reset. After waiting an hour for a simple oil change I questioned Eric why it wasn’t done bc I told him the day prior I needed to be asleep by 12 and gave him a 1.5 hour heads up to my arrival. He told me they didn’t have the oil for my vehicle and they were waiting on it. This seems odd to me because they have plenty of 4Runners on site. Then, the next thing I know is, oh no, I can’t take my vehicle because it was drained of oil, then, the next thing in my vehicle shows up outside all in a matter of minutes of my complaint. In regards to the alignment documentation I had TWO different answers —- Jared ultimately told they would need to set me up for that which means they did not do it and had I not requested the document they would have faulted on our agreement. I think my favorite part about what follows is two emails and a text to Eric and Jared no one was responding to getting my alignment set up. So I actually physically walked into the department to make them fulfill the verbal agreement we had. Now to follow up on the text I sent Eric about when they changed the tires the sensors went off for PSI and needed to be reset Eric stated his friend said they “go off in 3 weeks”. Now at <2 weeks I have a malfunction for the same issue that is directly resulted from them changing the tires. I have emailed and text Eric with no response and emailed Jared with no response. This issue seems to align more with damage they did when the tires were changed. I also was told it was a fleet vehicle but not rental but I found AVIS documents in the car. I was told the interest rates are “staying low” and mine was in the 3% but when i signed magically was 6.5% Verbal agreements are legally binding in the state of Colorado so they legally are bound to fulfill what they told me they would do prior to my signature. It also seems they’ve damaged my vehicle when they were fulfilling the tires agreement but again are avoiding me since I have already signed. So if you buy from them get it in writing and/or record everything they say. Needless to say horrible experience that did not need to happen but they seem less interested in customer service than doing what it takes to put money in their pocket and take advantage of women. I fully plan on filing a complaint.

Absolutely disgusting how they try and push you and have you waste your time...... Had a cash deal they had a check that they couldn't find, finally found it. Was told before the car could be transferred they had to run me and my wife's credit??? Why it's a cash deal they were already paid...and you still have to run our credit? The bank requested a inspection report they did not have one. Told 3 different things by 2 different people. Don't waste your time, go someplace else. There are plenty of decent car dealerships.

With a check hand delivered to your dealership, the vehicle is paid for. Why do YOU insist on a running credit? When you have a certified check and the payment process does not go through you Why do YOU insist on a credit check? We we told last night the GM will not allow transfer until credit has been run on both of us? There were several other red flags that were apparent but i dont think you want to put in here for everyone to read. One item is illegal and it got cought. I have documents (Worksheet) only when i brought it up to joel was it handled. Makes you wonder how many other customers didnt see that and got swindled.
Very rude dealership they wanted a 3300 dollar down

Ever since I bought my Telluride it has an issue of safety child locks unlocking while driving automatically fidgeting when the car is running or off and They can’t give me a straight answer in who is supposed to fix this.. they need to replace the motherboard or replace my car; I want this issue to be taken care of as soon as possible because the safety child lock warning came on and indicator light came on indicating the locks were unlocked with My children in the backseat!
