Beware!

If something sounds too good to be true it often is. This dealer uses deceptive xxxxxxto get customers in the door. They have a long list of BS dealer installed add-on's, (ceramic coating, theft protection, VIN etching, nitrogen filled tires, etc) adding around $10K that is not advertised on their list price. With all the information available to consumers today, you would think dealers would not be as blatantly deceitful. Gotta love these shady stealerships. RUN!

Shady Dealership. Broken promises.

Horrible experience. Tried for two weeks to get additional details on a vehicle because I was 2+ hours away. Initially they kept just trying to get me down there (old school tactics). I told them I did not want to drive nearly 5 hours round trip just to be disappointed; that I just needed some additional details/photos before making the trip. Told I would get those over and over and never did. Super shady tactics. Looks like from the reviews I'm not alone.

False Advertising!!

False Advertising! They advertised a truck I was looking at for $29,000, I took off work and drove 1.5 hours down there just to find out they are charging a non optional fee for anti theft and paint protection, right around 2k in BS extras. This put the truck at over $31,000 and they could not get me to the payment I wanted. This place is shady and they lure you in with there false advertising and low prices and then hit you with surprise charges that are not optional. Stay away from this place!! They are not professional, honest, or transparent. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Stay away!!! I will be contacting the BBB about this!

Beware of $1,898 Add on!!!

Beware that they charge $999 for theft detection and $899 for nano. You don’t need them, but they say they are already on the car. Outrageously high!!!!

Absolute ripoff

Would easily be 0/5 stars if I could select that. Called the day before, was promised the car would be there in the morning, 2.5 hour drive and the car was sold when I arrived. Tried selling us the same car in a terrible color, ended up ordering and putting a $500 deposit down. 3 days later my bank called and someone tried using my card to make an order on Ebay. Haven't used this bank card anywhere else. Needless to say, I'm not going to be purchasing anything from this dealership, and would not recommend anyone do so. Bull crap "antitheft" charge of over $1000 automatically added to the price, additional charge for nitrogen in the tires, as if they came flat from the factory? It's a rip off, regular old air is just fine.

Buchanan Final price is false advertising

Let me start with Buchanan final price is not the final price. Truck listed at $42,411 with my first responders discount truck should have been $41,911. Tell me why when they brought the paper out the trucks price was $47,000. Plus all the extra stuff you can't take off like the air in the tires, the theft BS they offer, and other things totalling $2000. So the trucks final price is actually $49,000. My 2020 WRX with 31k miles they offered $22,000 for which is a joke all in itself. Please take this warning, it all looks good on the website but after driving 1.5 hours there and 1.5 hours home, I still have my car. With $5,000 down they had my payment at like $1,300 a month for 72 months. Picture paying $96,000 for a truck that is listed on their website for $42,000. They use your trade it to cushion the blow of the price they advertise, and then act like they're doing you a favor. I'll never go back, I bought a truck in 2020 from them and it took me 8 hours to get the deal they advertised and didn't want to do that again this time. Please save your time and gas.

xxxxty customer service

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had (Alex and DJ). Prices are not bad, but I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Great dealership

We enjoyed working with cami. She was super friendly and helpful. Aling with chef. It was worth the trip from Virginia. We got a great deal on our vehicle. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed the snacks and drinks. Your facilities was very clean and welcoming.

Great customer service!

I went to the dealership for a repair. While I was there I thought I would make a purchase from the parts department. Trinity and Mike Jamea helped me look up my GM loyalty points on their computer in showroom, and printed my voucher so I could make my purchase I'm parts at no charge to me! Very helpful, went out of their way, great customer service!

Steer Clear - Do NOT Recommend!

Purchasing a vehicle from this dealership was a horrendous experience. The sales process was lengthy and the team members we worked with were disorganized, deceitful, and condescending. We were charged incorrect sales tax twice and were lied to about the financing terms of our loan. Gap insurance was added after we had declined this coverage twice and a third party extended warranty was added without our consent. We had to wait for paperwork to be redone several times in order to have these things removed and numerous other errors corrected. After spending over $50,000 on a vehicle, we were given less than ¼ tank of gas to drive several hundred miles home. The registration transfer took 8 weeks to complete and was processed incorrectly. Instead of transferring our personalized plates to the new vehicle as we requested twice during our transaction, we were given generic plates. I have purchased six vehicles in my adult life and have never encountered such poor communication and patronizing deception until my experience with Buchanan Automotive.
