Thorough and Friendly - Best Experience vs Other Dealers

I went to several dealerships in my used car search but Dave Gill was by far the best experience. I worked primarily with Shane Pulley who was very personable and thorough when working with my wife and me. He did an excellent job showing us the car we were interested in purchasing, including all of the features, before our test drive. We wound up agreeing to purchase the car, handling the paperwork the next day. Dave Gill was a little busy the following day so our wait was longer than expected but, Shane made the time fly by. His friendly and outgoing personality makes him easy to talk to and feel like he genuinely cares about you as a person. When it came time to finalize the paperwork with Kevin Hampton, the experience was no different. Kevin was able to make the otherwise monotonous process of filling out paperwork somewhat enjoyable, fully answering all our questions with personal anecdotes and a few jokes to lighten the mood. He was very straightforward and customer oriented, even though he's required to try to up-sell you some add-ons. His goal was to put you in control, making it very clear what's an optional purchase, where you might find some value, and what most people choose to do (decline all the up-sells).

Thank you Tracey!! She was a blessing to me to be able to get me into a new car with a lower payment and APR but still had all the perks of a new car!!!!

2014 Chevy Mailbu Purchase

I Purchase new Malibu on Saturday 24 May 14. When I arrived I was greeted by my salesman Chris Steigerwald, at the door, the car I was interested in had a personalized welcome as well. I have purchased approximately 20 new vehicles over my life time; this by far was one of the best experiences. My salesperson new the vehicle and it’s systems inside out he got me a great deal on my trade. He was the first salesperson I’ve had who didn’t ask what I owed on my trade prior to having it assessed. This dealership has definitely made me feel like part of the family and they will get my business in the future..

Swift, simple, and satisfied

From my first step in to the moment i left i was greeted and treated with great service and respect from Shane. I went with my parents and my daughter, all being very different with personalities, expectations, and mood but Shane adapted and connected with each individual in my family and those who i was not talking who worked there offered drinks and gave my daughter a balloon, crayons, and a coloring book. This is my personal opinion with going above and beyond to bring great service. Shane did everything he could to get the best deal possible and the manager Matt made every effort to make sure our needs were being met and came out his office more than a few times to talk to me. Over all this is one of the best experiences ever in dealing with any business.

A+++ Staff At Dave Gill Chevrolet

Today (Saturday) I went into the dealership with the hopes of finding a vehicle within my price range and that was appealing to me. I found a vehicle that met both of these qualifications and MUCH... MUCH more. The staff at Dave Gill Chevrolet are second to NONE. Everyone was very friendly and wiling to cater to my comfort and sense of feeling welcomed. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in the front door. Scott Hall greeted me with a firm hand shake and a smile ear to ear upon entry into the showroom. When the vehicle I purchased came back from the detailer it was 100% spotless. Amazing. Not a spec of dust anywhere. I would recommend Dave Gill Chevrolet to anyone in the Columbus area for any of your new or used car needs. They are top notch and I will definitely be back for the regular maintenance on the vehicle I bought today. Hats off to you Scott Hall and Kevin Hampton (Finance Manager) for getting me into a car I feel i deserve. And to be honest, the 1 - 5 scale is not enough to scale my level of satisfaction with these two professionals. Thank you VERY MUCH Dave Gill Staff. You guys are great.

Great place to buy a car!

Great buying experience! No pressure sales and great friendly staff! Easy paperwork process and received a thorough explanation of vehicle features. I highly recommend Dave Gill. Overall a fast, fun, and easy experience.

Great experience!

I looked up reviews online of every dealership within the Columbus area and Dave Gill by far had the best reviews that I could find. Everyone was talking about how well they were treated and how great their experience was and now I know why. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the time I stepped foot on the property, the staff was very friendly and not overwhelming in any way. I know most dealerships have the reputation of swarming people right when they pull on the lot but this was not the case at all on my visit. Chris was absolutely wonderful in helping me find the perfect vehicle after I explained my budget and what I was looking for. He showed me around the lot and explained the differences of every car we saw and also helped me understand the financial details before we even sat down at his desk. Other staff that I came in contact with were very polite and after my purchase I felt like every staff member congratulated me on my new car and did everything they could to make me feel welcome. Chris asked us multiple times if we wanted anything to drink and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. He explained all the finances very well and answered all of my questions informatively. This was by far the best experience I have had while purchasing a vehicle and I would recommend Chris and Dave Gill Chevrolet to anyone!

Less Time at Dealership = Happy Days

I was looking to purchase a new Chevy Cruze for my wife and was using a buying program through USAA Insurance. My goal was to get a good price for a vehicle while not spending all day at a dealership and then leaving with disappointment. The program worked as intended. I was able to do all of my negotiations via email and received prompt responses. When I arrived at the dealership, my deal was already made. I just needed to do the final wrap-up with add-on's and financing. Two hours later I was out the door with my new 2014 Chevy Cruze and the wife is happy.
