I most warn you that some of this review sounds like a comedy sitcom script. Bottom line avoid Volvo of Red Bank at all cost! About 10 days earlier I started connecting with a salesperson by the name of Eric. He was professional and well versed in the Volvo product line. The dealership, through Eric, wouldn't budge off the list price, would not offer any incentive to purchase the vehicle, like rubber floor mats, but did disclose Costco members are eligible for $1,500.00 towards the purchase price. CARFAX listed this car as a good deal and the $1,500.00 from Costco definitely moved it into the great deal category. I test drove the vehicle and it was fine. I asked when the car would be detailed for delivery, and I was told it had been through the Certified Pre Owned inspection and detailed. Well the entire rear interior was covered with dog hair and the seats had stains from drink spillage. Also there was a real sloppy touch up paint job visible only when you opened the rear hatch. I was assured the vehicle would be detailed again and would be sent to the body shop to correct the bad touch up paint job. The mandatory $500.00 deposit was made, and a certified check was needed to complete the purchase when picking up the car. I arrived to pick up the car and at first they couldn't find it. When they vehicle was pulled up front of the dealership there were several acorns sitting on the windshield wipers. What dealership parks a $40K plus vehicle under an oak tree? Now I have to re-inspect the vehicle for digs from falling acorns. The bad touch up paint job was stilled noticeable and I was told all they did was sand it down to make it smooth. What dealership doesn't have matching touchup paint? During this inspection I noted a gouge in the left rear tire side wall. It was so deep you could see the steel treads of the side wall. I was told they would put a new tire on the car. Now Eric has to engage his sales manager, not the service manager, for the tire issue. I questioned the one tire exchange because on high performance European cars both tire on the same axel need to be replaced for balance and performance. The sales manager reply was yes that's recommend but it's subjective. What? He states, "He can't replace both rear tires but will look in his old tires for something that matches." My initial thought was, "what dealership stores old tires and has a sales manager going through discarded tires?" The sales manager was nothing more than the south end of a north bound horse! I really feel bad for Eric but told him to keep the car for some other sucker. Bottom line avoid Volvo of Red Bank at all cost!

I was amazed how Eric, listened to me.
I was amazed how Eric, listened to me. He became my personal shopper rather than a salesperson. It was so easy. The first car he showed me fit my needs perfectly and the deal was done! I’m thrilled! Looking for a car? Got to Red Bank Volvo!!! Great car and fabulous service.

I had not bought a car in many years and it was finally
I had not bought a car in many years and it was finally time.I was looking for a car no brand in particular . A few family members have Volvos and we’re happy with them. I went to Redbank Volvo and worked with Peter Comito who was very professional and honest .Peter found a certified used Volvo that was the right car for me . That was in the price range that I was comfortable with .No high pressure sales or haggling . The whole process was seamless and painless ! It was an excellent experience and would recommend you reach out to Redbank Volvo Owner Rich Matthew’s and Salesman Peter Comito when you are looking for your next car !!!

Red Bank Volvo's service department is excellent.
Red Bank Volvo's service department is excellent. On August 16, 2023 we were headed down the shore from northern NJ when our 2005 S80 started to sputter a bit. Searching google maps we discovered that we were less than ten miles from Red Bank Volvo. We made it there safely and were greeted by a very friendly, professional young man, Chris Womble. Chris immediately walked outside with us and told us that he would need to get the car into the shop to diagnose the problem. Even though we did not have an appointment Chris said he would fit us in and he did. Within hours he called my cell and told us what the problem was and shortly after called to let us know that the car was ready. The car ran like new. We highly recommend Red Bank Volvo's service. Chris Womble was outstanding, he is professional, friendly and caring. He is a credit to Red Volvo.

Scammed me by giving me a car with a different trim .
Scammed me by giving me a car with a different trim . They purposefully left out the models trim on the contract and charged me the same amount as the higher one on a lease .

Positive, honest & friendly purchase experience with no "market adjustments". Test drove a certified car but Eric found rebates that made a new car possible. Excellent advice on warranty options.
