Anything I write here will sound overenthusiastic or fake, but I'll try to moderate my tone. :D If you live in Lafayette and buy cars, you know That Big Dealership Group(tm) that owns most of the big-name franchises here. Yeah. My wife and I had gotten used to the kind of treatment you get from Those Guys, so didn't expect anything different when we walked into De Fouw to look at Chevy Volts. Well, we were dead wrong. We were introduced to a Salesperson, Chad Troxell, and began looking at a brand new Volt. He accompanied us on the test drive and then we got back and began talking numbers. We were in very early stages of planning a move to EVs (Electric Vehicles) - so weren't buying "now." It was then mentioned that pre-owned Volts are a pricing anomaly (they go for less than half of what they are new!). Long story short - we purchased a Certified Pre-Owned '13 Volt and love it! And, unlike other dealerships, they don't abandon you once they have your money. All our post-sale questions and issues have been resolved 100% perfectly and promptly. This is how cars should be sold, and this is how car sellers can earn someone's business - not just a quick sale, but an honest relationship over multiple car purchases. I only wish there was a way for De Fouw to wrest some other manufacturer franchises from Those Other Guy's grasp.

We have always enjoyed our time with Chad. He is super friendly and always comes to visit us when we are waiting for our oil change. He remembers our names and details about our family and us. We give Chad 5 stars.

Couldn't have hoped for a better vehicle purchasing experience. Chad Troxel was amazing to work with! He went above a beyond to find me exactly what I wanted and with the payment I wanted. Not your typical pushy sellman who only cares about commissions. He did such a great job when I bought my new truck a couple months later I sent him a short email stating that my wife and I were thinking about upgrading her to a new Equinox. With in 10 minutes of sending the email Chad called me. The next day my wife and I drove to the dealership to sign papers on her new Nox! No wait, no hassle what so ever, Chad had everything done and ready to go.

After my daughter's car got to the point it was easier to buy than repair- especially with bad ERG valve, we reshuffled the family cars and needed a "new to us" car. After doing the necessary research and getting a preauthorized loan, we went looking. Chad Troxell at Defouw was extremely helpful and professional. He listened to us and helped us narrow down choices. He made sure we were aware of all of the new features and answered all of our questions. He was available to us for follow up questions and getting everything in order. We purchased a 2016 Chevy Cruz. When the hailstorm hit Lafayette a month after we purchased the car, Chad reached out and helped set us up with the service department to remove numerous dents. We would highly recommend Chad to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

Great and NONstressful experience. Chad Troxel made sure everything went smooth. Im very happy with my purchase. I will tell all my friends about the great deal I made.
