Older Mazda Problems

I was sent to the dealership after my little repair shop couldn't fix the problem I had with my older Mazda. They were super friendly and very willing to help me. I left my car and they shuttled me back to my house and told me they would call with an update in a couple hours. No one ever called. I called back only to find that the service center had just closed and I was not able to get my car back that night. They looked at what was in the computer to tell me what was going on with my car and told me someone would call me back in the morning. They called at 11am and told me they couldn't find the part I needed and there was nothing they could right now but that they would keep looking. I went back and picked up my car and when I got there they told me they had found the part in Idaho and asked if I would like them to order it. Yes of course. a week went by and no part I called and asked about it and they said it hadn't come in yet and to check back in a couple days. I then went on vacation for a week. I called on my way back and they said it still wasn't there. He called the place and someone either forgot to order it or they forgot to send it either way not good business practice. The part arrived 2 days later and they called as soon as it got in and said I could bring it over to get it installed. I did and 45 min later they had that part installed and me on my way. It was a great price and they did get it done quickly (once they got the part) but 2 weeks to get one little part?

First Oil Change Mazda CX-5

The service department at D Dahle Mazda is always friendly and helpful. When the service tech failed to vacuum my car as listed was done, Rich took my car right back to service and had them finish the job. I was very impressed with the service that was provided.

They will do whatever it takes to get a sale.

I do not recommend D Dahle Mazda. They flat out lied to me, I was pregnant and sick and hospitalized two days after buying my car, when I went in to sign the paper work. They would not tell me what my insert rate was. They said that they could not break it down for me. They told me that it was good though and that my payments were reasonable. I was to tired to fight for an answer. After out of the hospital and finally recovered, I found out that my interest rate was ridiculous17 percent. I do not have bad credit and was able to refinance through my bank at 4.5 percent. I wasted so much money. Also they sold me insurance saying that through it I could get an extra key, which I could not (a 500 key). They only gave me one key. We traded in our car, we only had one key on us at the time, but we had two more at home (the remote keys), they told us not to worry about it. So that means they pulled the same scam on the people who bought our car. This was not the salesman that lied, it was the finance department. Every six months ago I get a email how I should rate and give a review for their service. There is a link for if you are giving a good review, and a link for a bad one. I have sent an email in for the bad one, and never received a response. Really there are better places to go.

Will never do business with these guys again and also...

Will never do business with these guys again and also make the recommendation to others to steer clear. I bought a used truck from them and under recommendation of the finance manager and salesman, although I was hesitant to do so, purchased their after-market warranty specifically to cover any issues with the 4WD ($2,200 for a comprehensive 3 year warranty - so not an insignificant amount). I started having issues with the 4WD so I took it in to have it repaired. I was told that the warranty would not cover the issue as the specific part needing replaced was not listed and if I didnt like it to call the warranty company myself. I expressed my displeasure with the situation as I had purchased the warranty through the dealership and hoped they would fight for the me their customer. While the service rep was courteous, he never made any offer other than to fix the part for an additional $700. Poor poor customer service and a lack of integrity and honesty from the finance and sales departments. Will NEVER buy from this dealership again.

I have received service there more than 2 times and...

I have received service there more than 2 times and that's why I came back again. I was assisted with great service and Mr. Benz and his service guy drove my car to me since I did not have a ride from Holladay. I have nothing but the greatest respect for the service team there and Mr. Benz, due to excellent service me and my husband received.

D. Dahle Mazda treated me very well, with high respect. I am an experienced car buyer and they did not play any games, no old school tactics, and the salesman Kyle Pecora was very knowledgeable. Finance took about 10 minutes, and he did not try to sell me a bunch of useless stuff. Troy was the sales desk manager and he was very upfront. I got a great discount on a 2014 Mazda CX-5, and they paid very well for my trade in. I would recommend them to anyone local, I know the other dealer in Bountiful offers "free tires for life" but they don't tell you that you have to do every little service with them, like tire rotations, air filters, brake flushs, and they charge rather high premiums for those rather non-premium services.
