Awful and disappointing
Awful downturn. I used Otis Ford service for 10 years and received prompt, pleasurable, and effective service- that is NO longer true. The service and repair charges are outrageously terrible. Last year, I made an appointment for an air conditioner issue and annual inspection. My appointment was on a Thursday. I was told my car would be ready the next day due to a part on order. So, I called on Friday before noon and was told the service department would return my call. No one called. I called again and got no response. Service was closed on the weekend and I arrived Monday morning to pick up my car. The air conditioning was not fixed. I needed my car back. A service person told me that I should have called- of course, I had called. I tried to make a follow up appointment to complete the repair, but there was no accommodation made to my schedule, Even though the air conditioning repair had been begun and left incomplete. This week, I experienced a repeat performance. I dropped off my car on Thursday. I got a call with an enormously high repair quote. After coming to an agreement on the price, Jeff told me that they would work on it immediately- that was 11:00 AM. But no one called to say that the car was ready, and on Friday, I called twice before noon, only to learn that 'something else' was wrong. And a new part needed to be ordered. I asked for a loaner car and was told there were none available, and that other customers had been waiting for 3 weeks for a loaner car. Jeff said he could NOT promise I'd get the car back before Monday. And he said the new part was an additional 200 dollars. Stay away. It's awful.

What a terrible experience.
What a terrible experience. I was dealing with Mark Layburn at Otis Ford. I go look at the used truck i liked (2018 Ford F150 XTL), I test drove it (loved it), I get all my paperwork ready for the loan the next day, even put the temporary insurance on it. Then i get a phone call and a text message from Mark telling me they sold it to someone else THE DAY BEFORE. He proceeds to tell me he didnt even know it sold. So to me theres a communication problem within their staff. Now i have to cancel insurance and all the paperwork and i still dont have a car and i cant get to work. So i basically drove to Otis Ford for nothing. Im not one to leave people or a company (especially a local dealer) bad reviews but man this was very upsetting. I dont think ill ever go back or even recommend a friend to go there.

Great Service!
The service department is excellent : friendly, informative, very knowledgeable, and well managed under Chris Russo. Sales folks are fair, long tenured, and loyal to repeat customers and enthusiastic with new customers. There is no pressure and no pushing things you don’t want or need.

...wanted pricing on Ford Bronco Sport (the small one, not the big one)...they wanted 3-5% over MSRP.....sorry, I'll go elsewhere where they don't gouge ya ! I would give them zero stars, but you have to give at least one for this survey...also, I do not remember sales person I worked with, so to be fair, I checked off first one just to get survey through (my apologies to Mike).

My husband and I had an absolutely incredible car buying experience with Otis Ford. Thank you to Jeff Plitt, Lou Caponi, Jeff Winter and Carl Vail for their professionalism, kindness and truly above and beyond service. We had been incredibly anxious about purchasing a vehicle, weighed down by the stereotypes of fast talking high pressure car sales, and entered this experience with a ton of apprehension. Our experience at Otis Ford was the opposite of all the bad things we had read about purchasing a vehicle. All the staff we dealt with were patient, put zero pressure on us, were quick to answer our questions and address our concerns. Due to our own schedule and things that came up on our end, we had to change the (already agreed upon) delivery plans with Otis at the last minute and they accommodated those changes with grace and not a single iota of frustration or hesitation. We had traveled quite a way to come to Otis, but it was worth every mile of travel and we will definitely come back when we purchase our next vehicle. We can't imagine going anywhere else. We've had our car a few days now, and are so pleased. We got an incredibly fair price on the car, it was in absolutely excellent condition and it's been a dream to drive. If you are looking for a hassle free car buying experience, Otis Ford should be your first stop, and it will probably also be your last. From start to finish, everything about buying a car here was awesome. We really can't say enough good things about this dealership! Thank you to all the staff at Otis Ford for making buying a car such a good experience!
