Purchased a used 2017 Chevy Silverado from this dealership. I drove up from omaha to purchase this truck because omaha didn’t have any and the price was aggressive. We negotiated a ok price on my used truck and at this point thing were good and I would have given the experience 4 stars and referred friends to make the drive to Lincoln. Then it all went down hill. I left due to the time and it was already late. Came back the next day to head to finance and sign on the line. When I came back as arranged and communicated during the day that I would be back at 6pm as planned. They said the truck was in detail and finance was ready for me. But to get a jump start I could fill out credit info online. I have good credit so no problem. I did so and they said no problem see you at 6. When I arrived the truck was not detailed. I dropped the tail gate and paint was in the bed. It was not detailed. So the salesman said he would personally do it. Then I went to finance and the tried to increase my rate by 2 percent. After I turned down 4,000 in add on charges???? After over 30 min and talking with manager And finance guy running back in forth. He said he found a place and everything was fine. He also told me “he knows finance and he doesn’t tell me how to do my job”. I should have walked but was mentally tired with corona -19 stuff. And working to much. Then I left looked and they didn’t even give me a half tank of gas and I had to drive back to omaha. I called the finance manager and he said it’s a learning opportunity for finance. But after that he said why would I buy if I didn’t agree to the terms. Sales 4 stars out of 5 Finance 2 stars Detail/service 1star

Don’t Trust.

Purchased a used Mercedes recently. The ad from Husker Auto Group and the dealer stated Car Fax report was clear, no history of wrecks. Found out after purchase that the dealership purchased the car, with Subframe damage, from an auction. Learned my lesson! Pull the CarFax report yourself and don’t trust anything these car salesman tell you.

Let me tell you first that I do not typically do this but I had to share everywhere I could. This was my response to their customer service survey. More than a little frustrated right now with your dealership. Initially, the service and communication were great. Once the vehicle was purchased and the salesmen cut his check it seems as though he was done with helping. The truck is the dream truck so I made a trip far from home to purchase the vehicle and waited months for the right one at the right price. I was elated to find the truck at $24K. Upon arriving at the dealership the deal was done I had already purchased about $500 worth of extras for the vehicle. Then they took me over to the finance office and played the game of "let me go talk to the manager and see what we can do" a couple of times. It is partially on me I was not very clear and firm about what I wanted but was presented finally with a "deal" at a special interest rate. The things that ended up being added on to the loan total $3250 for the extended warranty (wanted), $1600 for rust prevention (wanted), $999 Gap coverage (didn't really want), Zaktek(Got talked into), and not sure on the dollar amount but wheel and tire and door ding coverage. Again coverages are cool things but they were not presented to us in this matter. We were only told a rate and a payment over time. Upon looking over the total of the loan it was over $32K meaning a quarter of what I am paying off with interest are just coverages from your dealership. We were being fed that they were deals at special rates but sadly the only ones who came away with any types of deals were the salespeople cutting checks off of those "deals". So I figured since I paid for all of these extra coverages I'd make a quick trip back as soon as I could to get some of them done. I tried to get in touch with salesmen to help me set up and schedule the work. No communication what so ever from him. I had to get bounced back and forth from different departments because I wanted to get Zaktek and Rust prevention done in one day. Knowing that it was going to take me a while I asked if there was any way that a courtesy vehicle would be possible for the day they said that would be fine. So yesterday, only 5 days after buying the vehicle, I make the trip leaving home at 5:30 am. Get to your shop at 8:30. I told them that I needed both things done in 1 day that is why I called multiple people and came so early. Instead of one of your dealerships courtesy vehicles I was taken to enterprise and had to use one of their vehicles. Not sure why. I went back to the dealership and bought a spare key for my vehicle for another $300. Kent was about the only highlight from your business. I spoke with the person with who I initially worked and communicated the key situation with her. I was told that programming the key may take 45min to an hour. Making my grand total time there worth the six-hour round trip worth the drive. So rust prevention they said 2-3 hours, Zaktec they sad 2-3 hours and key programming 45min-1hr. The truck was dropped off at 8:30 so let us say 9:00 to get started. I drove around Lincoln and came back to the dealership around 1:45 to see if the work was close to being done and if I could pay so that when the truck was done we could leave. Upon arrival, I learned that the truck hadn't even made it over to the side of the dealership where the Zaktek and keys need to be done. I was told they could get key and Zaktek done quickly or we could make another 6 hour round trip to get it done another time. So my mom and I sit there for another 2 hours before anyone says anything again to us only to find out 2 hours later that they are not even done with the keys yet. I am at a loss at this point. No Zaktek this trip. I'm about to get hailed on. I leave and now today I get this survey asking about how satisfied I am with my experience. So I will ask you... how satisfied are you with your overall service. Like I said the whole experience hasn't even been a total of a week. Would you refer a friend to your business? Not me, even if they had to put up with half of the things that I had to put up with. You can bet that friends will be warned off for sure. Just at your establishment, I have spent about $34K now. I do not feel like a very valued customer. Also 1 week later call from rental car place. They hadn’t even taken it back. Had a hold on my deposit for a while.

Just looking to sell

Despite having heard bad things about the dealership, I found something I might be interested in so I contacted them. The dealer didn't take time to get to know me, try to tailor a sale to me and he didn't educate me on what his dealership, let alone Chevrolet, offers. It became evident rather fast that he just wanted my money. Ill give him this I suppose, he read the brochure to me...When I was offered the trade-in value on my vehicle, it was a terrible "end all-be all" number. There wasn't any room for negotiation. When I asked for the keys to my vehicle, there were petty comments made under his breath as he left his desk. He went from a fake in genuine personality to an all out dick real fast. So I took my business to Honda of Lincoln where they gave me a more than genuine offer on my trade-in and found a truck that I love.

Car repair

The part had to be ordered and they received it earlier than originally thought. Marty the service coordinator kept me updated. They were able to get the car repaired a day earlier and back to us quicker that expected. Awesome!!

New 2019 Silverado Purchase

I found a pickup on line at Husker Auto in Lincoln Ne that we were interested in. We live 5 hours from Lincoln. I worked with Scott Heaton at Husker Auto to finalize a deal by phone and email. After sending pictures of our trade and being open and honest about its condition, Scott and I came to terms on final price with trade. I had a bad past experience in a online deal where a dealer tried to lower their trade value offer after I showed up to get a new pickup. I was concerned that I would have the same problem on this deal. I had absolutely no hassles when I met with Scott. He did a great job though the process of communicating with me. I showed up at 8:30 am and was on the road home with our pickup by 11:00. The entire staff at Husker Auto were friendly, courteous, and did a great job of making my buying experience a great one. I highly recommend Scott Heaton and the Husker Auto.

RUN AWAY

Hands down the worst sales experience I've experienced in any industry. There is a reason used car salesmen get a bad name, and this dealership is it's finest example. From the moment you step on the lot expect to be greeted with ignorance, lies to cover the ignorance, lies to close the deal, and disrespect. The fact this place is still in business after treating people like this makes me sick. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.
