Just bought a car from Nissan - New Rochelle and it couldn?t have been a better experience . The sales staff was very friendly and accommodating and able to answer any question I had. Finance department also made a normally relatively stressful process very smooth. Overall a great experience.

Worst experience I’ve ever had
Hey before I start I want to let you know this is a real and honest review. I came to this dealer on January 05th to buy a Nissan 2021 Altima sr with 13,700 mileage, i showed Donell the car I wanted, he told me all this car is 20k something and has less than 30k mileage, so I was like Ii, he got me waiting there for hours, came back, made me sign all the papers and I gave him 6k for down payment, and after all that we went to Tray’s office ( the worst finance manager”) he told me the car is $27k+ $6k down payment, how a 23k car go up to 33k, So I started asking them questions, but every time I asked them, they be like this is how car work bc taxes is high. So I just left to see the car and mind u, they gave me a different car that had 59k mileage on it. I didn’t know it was a different car because they look the same, and I asked Donell why he gave me that car, he said “bro you can afford the other car and plus they all the model and year” . What a SCAM SCAM SCAM…. 2 days later I came to this dealer to fix the brake and the sensor but they told me they can’t fix everything and for the sensor I have to wait 3 months or pay out of pocket. This car has a lot wrong with it. So they gave me a different car with 13k mileage and they told me I have to add $4k so everything would be $37k, that’s like buying a new Nissan. And this car is worse than the other one, the brake making a crazy sound, the airbag light is on and the battery is dead, today was the second time the car is off and won’t turn back on, so I had to jumpstart it and take it back to Nissan, they told me to come back on Monday so they could see what’s wrong with it, and I was supposed to go back to school today so now i would have to wait until Tuesday and will missed my class. And also Donell told me the insurance is $400 a month and the broker fee is $380 which he lied about but I still gave him the money because I don’t know nothing about cars, this was my first buying a car from a dealer, but I called Safeco yesterday and they said the fee is only $79. So be careful before you buying a car from this dealer, all their used car has problems and they would charged you more more money. Scammers.

The kind of dealer to avoid
The best part about this place is that their salesman was a nice friendly guy. After that, however, it was a mistake to come to them. They tacked $1,000 or so onto the advertised price with the explanation that that's how they do things in New York; they told me the car was scratch-free when it turned out they knew a big one was low alongside the rear door, but parked the car along an inside wall where it was hard to see it (they admitted later that they knew it was there); they sort-of agreed to fix a broken tab needed to connect the rear cover compartment, but then engaged in a series of diversions that included repeatedly not answering calls-texts. I finally just headed to the shop, and the salesman said by phone that he would be there, and when I arrived a short time later as agreed, he was gone, and the folks in the dealership said they didn't know where he was or when he would be back. Other than the extra $1,000 charge, the other stuff should have been fairly inexpensive to fix, which leaves me to wonder why they seemed so determined to behave this way. Maybe it's just force of habit for them, but either way, not a place I'd want to deal with again.

When I was ready to purchase the car, they added thousands of extra fees and Joe the general sales manager told me he can adjust the price at any time. I hope someone from Nissan Corporate reads this review and recognizes how this dealership damages their brand.
