Wow!

Wow! Friendly salesperson, fast and helpful responses, patient with our long-distance purchase and paperwork, sent lots of detailed pictures of the car. It’s scary to buy a car from halfway across the country but we felt comfortable and confident the entire way thanks to the people at Bruce Bennett Nissan! We can’t wait to see our new-to-us car in person and enjoy driving it for years to come.

Just had my car serviced and bill was $88 .

Just had my car serviced and bill was $88 . So they gave me my car back after a service and didn’t even clear my car. I’m very disappointed because I have been leasing cars for 35 yrs and always brought it to the dealer and ever dealership I have been away gave you a clean car back after.👎 Why should I bring my car to the dealer if they don’t take care of my car.

Today I responded to an online listing for a used car by

Today I responded to an online listing for a used car by first using the chat feature that popped up. After introductions I provided the stock # for the listing and inquired if the car was still available. Amy, the “chatter”, disappeared, to never be heard from again. Immediately afterwards I called the dealership and spoke with a salesperson, providing the make & model & again the stock # for the car. I was told that the car’s whereabouts was unknown but that the salesperson would speak to her manager and call me back in a matter of minutes. Here we are as I write this message some 9 hours later and no phone call has been received, no explanation provided. If my experience is not an anomaly and is typical of the quality of “customer service” this dealership extends to the buying public, I would stay clear, avoid the hassles and instead shop elsewhere. It really is not worth the aggravation.

I was looking for a Frontier S 2 wheel drive, king ca,

I was looking for a Frontier S 2 wheel drive, king ca, with splash guards, carpets and the technology package with the exterior color of Gunmetal Metallic.package. They show the vehicle on their web site with a price crossed out. I was lied to by the appointment coordinator that they had this vehicle. I asked for a copy of the window sticker and the dealership had to get approval from a manager, etc. before they would send it to me. I never got it They also said the window sticker would be there after I mad the appointment. It was not. I had an appointment and when I got there no one knew anything about the appointment. The person I was supposed to talk (?sales manager) sent me to a sales person who told me they never had this vehicle. I was also told by Marlon (sales person) or the sales manager they did not have a 2 WD on their lot in at least 6 months. They had no king cabs - only crew cabs. The had the MSRP price the vehicle I wanted crossed out and wanted the contact info so they could bait and switch me. Suddenly;, the dealer found the vehicle I wanted and came in with a piece of paper with a price and no details plus dealer extras with a $999 documentation fee. I was not allowed to take the paper with me but I could copy the information. I live in NY and by law the maximum documentation fee maximum is $175. A dealer in NY who did not have the truck I wanted said the real cost to the dealer of the documentation was well under $100. They charged the maximum to line their pockets. Another dealer in MA charges $498 for the same documentation which is a federal regulation. So why is the fee vary so much. Answer - pad the dealer profit. The dealer uses bait and switch and is unethical. I also found Middletown Nissan, Middletown, CT had the same 'ghost' truck' with the same VIN number on their website with a crossed out price. I tried for over 2 weeks to get a copy of the window sticker but all I got was a run around.

If I could give them a zero I would!

If I could give them a zero I would! We made an appt to see the car-2018 Nissan rogue for $7850. Called to make sure car was still available and was assured it was at 3:00pm. Got there at five and was told the vehicle was moved to Danbury and was sold! In two hours it was delivered and sold??? Sales manager then pushed and pushed us to buy a new Rogue for $33000. Then a new Kick for 39000!!! This was an obvious bait and switch as the rogue we went to see was low priced at $7850 other 2018 rogues with similar or higher mileage were $14000 to $17000. Sales manager was extremely pushy and wouldn’t take no for an answer. We walked out on him.

My daughter made an appointment on their website to test

My daughter made an appointment on their website to test drive a used car that she saw that said it was located at Bruce Bennett Nissan in Danbury. The called to confirm her test drive of the car for that same evening she called. Then they called her back to tell her to go the their location in Wilton because the car was there. Drive all the way to Wilton just to be told it was really in Danbury. We asked if they could confirm we could go to the Danbury location to take the test drive since it was only 15 minutes away. They called that location for us to confirm only to be told that the car was sold two days ago. Very unprofessional. They can’t even locate a car on their lot and they sell cars for a living. I will never do business with them and also let everyone know to never do business with such an unprofessional dealership.

Horrible experience with this dealer.

Horrible experience with this dealer. Bought a car that has had problems from day 1. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Paid a lot of money for a car that can’t stay on the road. Sales team was respectful but overall just not a good dealership. I’ve purchased many cars in my lifetime, never have I have seen anything like this.

I want to warn all hard working customers to beware of

I want to warn all hard working customers to beware of the sleazy, sneaky, and xxxxxxx tactics these people at Bruce Bennett use to make a few extra bucks off of us. They told me I needed to have my oil drained due to over fill. I have been going to my oil place for over a decade and never had one issue with them. Bruce Bennett bad mouthed them and said the people who worked where I go for my oil changes are inexperienced and lazy people. I should really be getting my oil changed at Bruce Bennett. I called the oil place and told them I was charged for this service and the first thing the district manager asked me was if this was Bruce Bennett in Wilton. I said yes, and he said this is what they do for even a few bucks. The woman lied to me straight to my face knowing I would be forced to pay this charge or not get my vehicle back. This is the second time I am leaving a scathing review over their practices and they’re scheming. I called them and told them I want a refund for that fraudulent charge or I would be forced to leave another bad review. They agreed to cut me a check but refused to mail it to to me . I am not about to take time off from work to go up and get back money that belongs to me in the first place . I told them to mail it and they just didn’t respond back to me. Please be warned of these tactics that Bruce Bennett and Wilton due to us. If you’re a hard-working person, you deserve the right to know. They need to be shut down. I will never ever lease from these filthy wolves again. I can not wait to leave this company and never look back.

Completely and utterly disappointing!!

I cannot even begin to express my disappointment. In my lifetime I have probably owned 15 Nissans. The past three from Bruce Bennett. I’ve never felt more taken advantage of. I went to the dealership and was 100% honest about what I wanted to leave down and what I wanted my monthly payment to be. I understand the price of cars has gone up considerably ( what I paid and what I got is disgusting ) My one request was after the paperwork is all said and done. Please don’t stick me in the room with the man or woman who asks you for even more money. I want a final price. I live on a budget. This is what I can afford. What happens????? I go into the room with the lady and all of a sudden the monthly lease payment is now $50 more than what I was promised. I start to walk out of the dealership and oh no oh no we found some sort of coupon. OK….fine I’ll still go ahead with it. I knew at that point something was very wrong. I should have walked. The day I pick up the car (once they had my money) They couldn’t even be bothered to show me the car. They gave me a BRAND NEW car with a horn that was not working. You’ll never know how truly dangerous it is to drive a car without a horn until it happens. I had to make two more trips in order to have it replaced. Now not even TWO months in to leasing this car and the bottom bumper (with no damage no scrapes no nothing) has started to pull away and looks like it needs to be snapped back in. Once again I have to take time off from my job to go to the dealership. Thank God for the people in the service department. They have been nothing but wonderful, I cannot say the same for the sales department. I will never buy or lease another car from this dealership again. If anything else goes wrong with this BRAND NEW car, I will be calling the Better Business Bureau.
