I just bought a ford explorer from Leo Kate's during covid. Everyone was absolutely amazing. Had an issue with car and it was resolved with professionalism... and kindness. Service was great and fast. I have recommended them to several people and will go back for the next truck.

My girlfriend and I made a deal over the phone with the wonderful sales person, Sean. There was several issues but we had made it work. After planning... a day to go, we finally got there and had an issue with the insurance card. The finance "manager" Aaron walked out while we were getting ready to test drive the vehicle and sternly said to us that "we have a problem, and the insurance is not going to work. He was rude and unprofessional from the start. My girlfriend got the insurance taken care of and we signed papers. Upon leaving, the tire pressure light came on showing the front tire was 10 pounds lower then it should be. And the problems begin..... We immediately turn around and make them aware of the problem. They filled our tire and we left. Overnight the tire lost 20 pounds of air. My girlfriend called the next day to make them aware per my request and spoke to Aaron. I am appalled and extremely furious how Aaron took care of the situation. He was extremely rude to my girlfriend and completely unprofessional, stating "she was getting on his last nerve and had other things to move on and take care of", "if we don't want the truck to bring it back. Aaron also did not want to put in writing that we would be reimbursed for the tire fix that we just spent 35K on a truck with ZERO negotiation done by the dealer. I will not recommend a single person to this dealer, not only from the problem I immediately dealt with but because of the finance man. Upon speaking to some people in the Middletown area, this dealer does not have a good reputation - Had I known this, I would of never dealt with them. Very poor customer service especially the way my girlfriend was treated after try to get help fixing a vehicle we just bought less then 24 hours ago.
Drove 2 hours on Saturday morning 12/23/17 from Long Island to Warwick to pick up one of the last 2017 F-150's they had in stock that I was looking for.... Arrived at 9:30, after negotiating and striking a deal, drove home around 2:30 same day. Great experience. This is a small family owned dealership, which I prefer over the big city dealerships. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new car/truck.

We did not feel overly pressured to purchase during our visit for a test drive. The sales woman was very knowledgeable about the differences between purchasing... a vehicle in NY vs NJ, which helped us decide to go ahead with the purchase in NY.
Everything went well. Staff was polite they took my truck in quickly and checked out the problem and reviewed with me what they had found all in a very... reasonable amount of time. couldn't be better.
My wife and I are happy with the way our purchase was handled. They were honest and forthright. What I was told on the phone is exactly what the outcome... was when I went to Leo Kaytes in person, as it should be. We look forward to future purchases with them!
James was very helpful and patient with me while trying to decide exactly what I wanted. We had a hard time locating a vehicle that had the extras we wanted... (too late in model year to order one, and new model year wasn't available yet...so inventory was limited). Once I made up my mind he was great with the test drive and paperwork.
