They Suck!
Called for a car question in there service dept. They first asked "Are you a potential Customer?" They took my number and never called me back. Bad Bad Bad business practice. Tells me a lot about their ethics. Went elsewhere.

Service department management is lacking
Tried to call and schedule service for my car. All you can get is an answering machine. No one ever returns the call. I scheduled service on-line and specifically ask for a return call to confirm the appointment. No one ever returns the call. Upon arrival at the scheduled date, ask to speak with the manager to let them know that they have communication issues as the scheduler does not return calls. Manager was argumentative and very unprofessional. Basically refused to service the car due to letting know that the scheduler does not return calls. Long story short - called Branford Ford, spoke with a service writer (Nick) who was happy to see the car the same day and fixed the warrantee issue. A service! Remember you have choices where to bring your car and there are way better choices than Hammonasset Ford. Think of Branford Ford, Whaling City Ford, Saybrook Ford, Dowling Ford, Tasca Ford, Hoffman Ford or others. Even Goodyear, Firestone, Midas, or others are better choices. If they cant provide good service why would you want to buy a car from them?

Another great purchase at a great dealer!!
This purchase was mine and my wifes eighth from Hammonasset Ford and wouldnt shop anywhere else. Always a great experience and the staff is friendly and never pushy. Our salesman Conal Sampson was very professional and knew all the vehicle features. I just cant see shopping anywhere else!

Ruined My First Car Buying Experience
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had purchases anything, the staff is beyond rude and you can't believe a single word that comes out of their mouths. Not only do they lie, they tried to make me come back after already purchasing a car and give them an extra 200$ for a counting mistake they made, I refused. They did not try to work around my schedule at all, forcing me to have to call out of work multiple times. The whole process from the time I gave my security deposit to picking up the car was around a month and a half.... which is insane! Overall, I will never be returning and would never recommend this dealership to anyone. They are rude jerks who only care about stealing as much money as possible from you. When I picked up my car they provided limited information on how to use it, and they had lost the owner's manual. Absolutely ruined my car buying experience.

Sorry about the confusion and the complexity regarding your out of state vehicle purchase. Unfortunately; motor vehicle registration laws, procedures, requirements and fees differ from state to state. Out of state vehicle registrations can be complicated and time consuming especially when the customer's driver license is issued from a different state from where the vehicle is being registered. Hopefully you received the owner's manual and you are enjoying your 2017 Fusion Hybrid. We wish your 1st time buying experience was more satisfying and thank you for your business.
Dishonest Dealership
I purchased a used 2014 Ford Taurus in 2016. We decided to purchase the car the car was back for front end work 2 times in the first year and 2 sets of tires.l decided to trade the car in at different dealership on 9/16/18 when they did a Carfax report it came back that the car was in an accident.The sales and finance employees at Hammonasset Ford didn't tell me anything about the car being in an accident never got a Carfax they did rush though the paperwork. Will never buy another car from them.
