I had an excellent experience at Ingersoll from start to finish. Tom was my initial point of contact and immediately set a positive tone - he was welcoming and quickly connected me with the right person for my needs. Lisa was my salesperson and was absolutely outstanding throughout the entire process. She was knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to understand exactly what I was looking for without any pressure tactics. Lisa guided me through every step and made the final delivery smooth and professional, thoroughly explaining all the vehicle features to ensure I was completely comfortable. Rich handled the financing and made what can often be a complicated process incredibly straightforward. He was transparent about all the options and pricing, walking me through everything clearly and answering all my questions with patience and expertise. The teamwork between Tom, Lisa, and Rich was seamless - each person played their role perfectly and communicated well to ensure nothing fell through the cracks. What stood out most was how all three went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. I would definitely recommend Ingersoll. Their team’s expertise, professionalism, and genuine care for customer satisfaction makes this dealership exceptional. As a car owner looking to sell, I opted to use cars.

As a car owner looking to sell, I opted to use cars.com due to the large size of its audience. That's how I found Ingersoll Danbury. Upon completing a very detailed intake form that included a large number of photos, Ingersoll Danbury made me an instant offer. I was delighted at the price, and though I was considering selling privately, their offer made it unnecessary. I was urged by cars.com to "call the dealership if you want to take them up on their offer." So, I drove hours from home to a place I've never been, nor would have found, nor used, if not for their cars.com hair-trigger response, for the required "in-person inspection". The day before, on the phone, I'd been told by the gentleman I met there that "you could be offered even MORE than the offer, once we see it." Well, THAT's when things went wrong. Despite the car being in impeccable shape, 5 months old, below-average mileage, and loaded with extras, this same man now offered me 28% LESS than just a day earlier, with no explanation but for "that's what it's worth." When I asked how it was possible that they had offered the initial amount, he demurred, saying, well, it's just an app, and spits out automatic numbers that mean nothing. That's in spite of his having looked at the offer and told me specifically I could get MORE — not 28% less. I responded to him that cars.com is a car-buying app with a huge database and a pretty good idea what cars are worth, and that if they're 28% off in their estimate, they'd go out of business pretty quickly, and that this was pure trickery. His response? A shrug. So, in short: Ingersoll Danbury uses the app to make an outrageous offer you can't ignore just to get you to drive out there, wherever you live; only to disavow their own offer, blaming the app for being ignorant of the value of cars, in spite of an extensive intake form that includes mileage, vehicle history, photos, etc.; then offer you an amount you could literally get from anyone, anywhere. Except that if they acted honestly, they wouldn't have nearly as much business as they do. Unbelievable. To call their acts anything other than a scam would be disingenuous. BUYER BEWARE: Ingersoll will lure you in on false premises. Avoid them.

I have been going to Ingersoll Auto of Danbury for many years going back to when it was Saturn ( I have lost count the # of cars I have purchased). The buying experience is painless with no pressure sales. I have been going to the same Salesman (John Gallagher) for all my cars; he is terrific!
