Making things right - Job well done

This is in follow up to a prior review of my prior dissatisfaction. I wish there were a way one could update prior reviews but there is not so this is to reflect the outstanding efforts put forth by MHS staff to address my prior concerns. I have to say that sometimes things are less than one expects or things go wrong or there is a breakdown in communications as was the case with me. Clay The Service Director went the extra mile to recognize my displeasure and inability to speak with someone by phone about my vehicle. He took great care in addressing my concern, getting me answers and made things right. He even had it double checked. Clay was straight forward and genuinely sincere as he recognized the issue. He was a stand up guy and took charge with corrective measures to see that I drove away with a sincere feeling that those at MHS do care genuinely about getting it right for every customer. Clay has not only restored my faith in MHS but also in people in general. Thank you and your team Clay for the hard work and focus on making things right. Job well done. Rex and I will surely be back for another try at your service!

No brainer Not with the times.

It takes over three months of phone calls to make an appointment for a defect on a brand new car.Then you have to wait a month to get in for the repair. if they made repair appointments as fast as selling they would be great. I got a rude stupid dumb answer from a service manager about a door lock issue as to when the car is started and I could not unlock with the fob. Four months and not one person can answer this question. I found out from research this is what Subaru did on purpose as you can read on line if you look hard enough. don't buy a Subaru at all if you want to lock your doors after the car ignition button is activated.Even with the app it is disabled form using your phone to unlock the doors. Stupid and dumb people incorporating this non function. The space station most likely doesn't have this problem but, here on earth we have to unlock the door with the key manually on a 2023 vehicle. Dammmmmmmmmm.

2021 Impreza

Absolutely loved our experience. Our salesman Lou C. was kind and courteous. Buying process was smooth from start to finish. Definitely recommend for car buying.

New vehicle purchase

Our salesperson ,Patricia Stoutenburg, was friendly and knowledgeable immediately focusing on our new car needs. She thoroughly explained all the features the Forester has to offer. We weren’t planning on buying a vehicle that day . Actually we were just out looking for a vehicle needed in the near future. We were so pleased with the level of service we received we bought a Forester Sport that day . We have purchased and/ or leased numerous vehicles over the years and have never had such a positive experience.

Such a relief!

Excellent, straightforward salespeople who found the exact vehicle I was looking for. No games or browbeating about the value of my trade-in, no trying to upsell silly features, and a very thorough walkthrough of all the paperwork. Second time buying a used car, and the experience was so much easier! Our salesperson Lauren was exceptionally organized, handling a complicated registration and insurance change with grace and competence. I put 2,000 miles on the car in the first week, with no issues whatsoever.
