I work with both Jessie and Savanah and they are both wonderful to work with. the mechanics are well trained in what they do. They let you know if there is any issues with your vehicle and ask if they can fix it for you. thank you Thys auto of BP,.

Worked with Josh and Ryan; a low key , easy experience. No pushy salesmen and answered all my questions without making me feel foolish. On top of that; when I picked up the vehicle it was detailed and had a full tank of gas. I very much enjoyed my experience.

Will not negotiate, it's their way or the highway, despite having full asking price basically in cash they would not even enter the negotiation phase never trust a dealership that refuses negotiation. Josh also lied saying their Cars don't depreciate as they sit, anyone with any kind of Vehicle knowledge knows this is a lie.

Your review..."50% of the fun is the Negotiation, this place will not negotiate, despite having full askin price as cash in hand, it is they're way or the Highway, Our Representative Josh Lied to our faces, saying nothing on their Lot depreciates, This place thinks they are too good for you." THYS replied... "Thanks for your visit and for taking the time to leave a comment. We're sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience here. Our store manager, Mike O'Brien would like to talk with you more about it. I can address a couple of things in the meantime based on your comments regarding negotiation and vehicle appreciation. You mentioned negotiating being 50% of the fun. I know that's the way most dealers operated for a very long time. Most of our customers don't like to have to negotiate especially since they can research and find anything they want online. We price our vehicles very competitively online as a small, rural store just to make sure people have a reason to come all the way to Belle Plaine. You'll notice more and more dealers using this philosophy and most customers really appreciate knowing they are getting a good deal without having to negotiate the price. In fact, most shoppers won't even contact a dealer if they think the price is too high. The particular vehicle you looked at is priced very competitively and is a great, local, well maintained SUV. It is also a very strange time in the car business where most vehicles have truly appreciated in value for the first time I can remember and continue to do so. The shortage of new and used vehicles has continued to drive prices up. It's unheard of but true. More importantly, we're still sorry you didn't have a good experience here and will be talking about how we can better explain some of these things. We're always doing our best to improve and would sincerely like the opportunity to talk with you more on the phone or in person about how it was presented to you and how we can do better. Well worth the drive to Belle Plaine! Mike Obrien has an Outstanding Team that will bend over backwards to make sure their customers are taken care of. I chose Thys because of the small town family feel, open arms, great service, easy to deal with and they just good people. With the price of a new vehicle these days you have to have great service and Team that will stand behind what they are selling. I haven't ran into a sharper car guy than Tyler Chekal. Tyler will give you a deep dive into all of the specs and technology, you wont walk away with any questions. If for some reason you do, I will guarantee that he is a just a quick call away. I have read a ton of reviews over the years and haven't written many of my own, but thought I should share my experience because you deserve a great experience when purchasing a vehicle. I would highly recommend checking out Thys.

We just bought our Durango from Thys Motor Company. They were very easy to work with and very personable. We worked with Josh and he was wonderful. From the very first phone call to answer some questions when we were first kind of looking, to the test drive, and even driving the vehicle off the lot. He even reached out a few days later to follow up on how the vehicle was running. My husband and I were very pleased with them and Josh especially since we were from out of town. Thanks for all you've guys down for us, and thank you Josh for taking care of us fron beginning to end.

Haven't dealt with a dealership when buying a car in 20 years, but thys Motor company and my salesman Joshua Schumacher made my buying experience an awesome experience. All the people at Thys Motor company were very Pleasant to deal with. I just love my jeep renegade. Can't wait to take it on a trip.

Traded in my car and got a Wrangler from them recently. Traveled from Des Moines to their dealership as they had the jeep I wanted. Glad I did as the process was a lot quicker and easier than other dealerships and did not have to play the "games" that I got tired of with other dealerships. Will return again for future car buying.

Although we did not purchase our Jeep from Thys, Ryan allowed a dealer to make a trade so we could get the car we wanted closer to home. Not all dealers would do this...I think it says a lot about the character and integrity of the entire dealership!
