Mixed Feelings

Okay so I?ve been taking my 2015 equinox to this location since I bought back in 2020. Prior to this experience I?ve always thought very highly of this location. Thought they were honest. I say that because I am a female so I always have my cousin look over my vehicle and give me his opinion on what?s wrong with it and how much it should cost, etc. This location has always quoted me something similar to what my cousin said it would be. This last time I took it in, because it was stuck in 2nd gear and the code reader said valve one stuck open, over a month ago, they told me that they didn?t pull anything up on the code reader. They also told me they test drove it for 10 miles and didn?t experience the truck being stuck in second gear. They then tried to tell me that my engine was leaking oil and that it was 2 quarts low. Told me my tire rods were bad which I just had them replaced less than six months ago. Also some other random miscellaneous problems. Gave me a quote of around $9000. I said as long as it?s not stuck in second gear and that issue is fixed to just drop my truck back off. They did the following morning. My husband jumped in the truck later that afternoon and went less than a mile to the gas station and the truck was again stuck in 2nd gear. I called them back and they paid for the tow truck to come get my truck again. Told me they didn?t have a loaner for me. This time they told me that they did get the same code on the code reader. They experienced the same issue while driving it. Gave me a quote for a replacement transmission and a repair transmission said they had the same warranty so I told them to repair because it was the cheaper option. They did get me a rental until they had a loaner available for me which was nice and appreciated. Two weeks later they have me come back to the shop and explain to me why it would be better for me to just replace it and that the warranties were different. I told them I?d get back to them. And when I did I said to them that I made my decision based on information they gave me and had they told me there were different warranties I wouldn?t have made the decision I made and I shouldn?t have the pay the difference in cost because I was give wrong or misleading information so they acknowledged their wrong doing and worked with me on the price. It?s been another two weeks and my vehicle is still in the shop. I?m still in a loaner.

Mcgrath was a horrible experience.

Mcgrath was a horrible experience. Didnt walk in with an 800 credit score or pockets full of cash. Was told that they would call me back, never heard from them. Felt like they couldn't wait for us to leave the showroom, mcgrath should really learn how to treat everyone with respect and treat everyone with the same attitude....very disappointed in this experience.

My fiancé got into a car accident and we were in need of a vehicle. We came to Pat McGrath Chevyland, and we met Matt Rhodes who worked with us through the entire car buying process. Matt was incredibly easy to work with and wanted to ensure we got the perfect car to suit her needs. He was patient, kind, and truly seemed to care about our situation and had a desire to help. The business manager, KC, conducted the process in much the se way as Matt. We had an excellent car buying experience from them and felt welcomed the moment we walked in the door. If you’re in the market for a new or used vehicle, I highly recommend Pat McGrath Chevyland for your next purchase, there’s a reason “family” is in their name!

Ben Hoppenworth and Carter were awesome to work with.

Ben Hoppenworth and Carter were awesome to work with. Ben made time for me on a day he wasn’t even scheduled to be there to ensure I was able to get into a new vehicle in a timely manner. Everyone at Chevyland was very understanding and accommodating. They have definitely made a repeat costumer of me!
