Avoid Laramie Ford – Dishonest and Unprofessional Our

Avoid Laramie Ford – Dishonest and Unprofessional Our experience with Laramie Ford was extremely disappointing. My daughter, a college student at the University of Wyoming, brought in her 2019 Ford Escape for a starter replacement. From the start, communication was poor, the repair took significantly longer than promised, and the final bill was an excessive $1,140. However, the bigger issue came when the technician finally called to say the car was ready. He mentioned he had noticed a crack in the coolant tank and offered to replace it for an additional $400. My daughter declined and asked to see the damage. The tank was visibly broken, and the technician casually mentioned that “sometimes this happens when we remove the tank.” She left the dealership, but within two blocks, warning lights flashed and the car stopped. It turned out there was no coolant in the system. When we contacted the dealership and confronted them, they did replace the coolant tank free of charge—only after we demanded it. Despite this, I’ve repeatedly tried to speak with the service manager, Troy Baker, to discuss the situation further, but he has never returned my calls. Mistakes can happen, but attempting to charge a young college student for damage caused during a repair—and sending her off without replacing lost coolant—is both irresponsible and unethical. We strongly advise avoiding this dealership.

Laramie Peak Motors Service department use to be good to work with until now. Taken my pickup in for two different issues and still can’t get them fixed. Biggest complaint, no call back no follow up.

Trustworthy and reliable

I drive an hour and a half away from the Ford dealership in Casper to have my car serviced in Wheatland because I know I can trust Laramie Peak. Not once have I been told something needed done that did not (both Casper and Cheyenne locations have done that). I am always treated with kindness and respect at Laramie Peak Motors and my car comes back to me clean! In Casper, it comes back with dirty hand prints all over it. Definitely worth the drive!!

Oil change

I made an appt a week in advance so I could have a good time and get on to my next appt in Torrington. When I arrived 10 minutes early, they told me it would be a hour wait until they could get me in. I wasn?t happy, so after a conversation in the back they came and told me they would go ahead and work me in. I was on my way 2 and 1/2 hours later. I think they just put my vehicle in the back to make me happy. It hasn?t taken that long before for a change of oil and check a couple things. I probably won?t be back and we have bought several vehicles there.
