This was the best car buying experience of my life. Very...

This was the best car buying experience of my life. Very little back-and-forth. Found the price online along with many high-quality pictures. I drove up to Preston to find the truck and price just as described. The salesman and I settled on a price that I was very happy with and then the dealership honored that price. Very little hassle, no attempt to up-sell me on crap products like window etching, nitrogen filled tires, extended warranties or anything else. Just a straightforward deal and out the door. It literally took less than half an hour for me to show up, do the paperwork and walk out the door with my new vehicle at the out the door price agreed upon and with the interest rate I expected. The general manager, Dave, was fantastic. He personally responded quickly to a concern I raised and corrected the problem immediately. I couldn't be happier with this dealership.

Poor Service

I would caution against having your vehicle serviced at this dealership. I took my 2013 F-150 in for a routine oil change. After leaving, my check engine light came on within a mile, and I returned to the dealership and was told that I have a burnt exhaust valve on my formally perfectly running truck that their inspection had just said was "all in the green." I was also told that there was "no way that we caused this problem." After my complaints to Ford, some money was taken off of the $3000 repair, but I still ended up basically having an oil change cost me over $1500 dollars. I've owned Fords for most of my life, but this experience certainly has me questioning their commitment to their customers. Hopefully, others can be warned to watch out for this costly lesson at this dealership.

Pleasant, straight-forward car buying experience

Having purchased perhaps a dozen cars in my life, this was the most pleasant buying experience. Part of the reason is that with sites like cargurus and consumer reports, a buyer can know the going price of a particular car before buying. That makes negotiation pretty straight forward--no pressure, no haggling. But what impressed me was the lengths the salesman went to to identify any and all rebates and price discounts. He found a small ($250) rebate offered through my insurance company's car buying service, but a much bigger discount using smart financing. Another big selling point for me was the lifetime powertrain warranty that kicks in after the manufacturer's warranty ends. It's provided by a third party company, and included in the price of the car. No worries about an expensive engine or transmission repair on down the road. I'm very happy with the overall buying experience, and especially with the price of the car.

Warranty transmission repair

The service department was great about keeping me informed about how things were going. It was a warranty transmission repair, and they provided me with a car to drive while my was being repaired. It was just a little rough to be without my car for 3 weeks, but I knew from daily updates how things were going which helped a lot.

Love my Escape

Extremely helpful finance staff didn't stop working till they got me into my car... All the paperwork was ready to go when I arrived! Jerry was great to work with, he helped me make a great decision in vehicles. Jerry also took the time to walk me through every aspect of the vehicle and set up my sync!!

Poor maintenance in service dept.

I bought two vehicles from Hunzeker. The first vehicle ran and drove real smooth. We purchased a second vehicle from them shortly after the first. This vehicle also ran great. I took the first vehicle in for brake repairs. It wasn't out of the shop two weeks and the starter went out. Several weeks later it sounded like a U joint was going out. They said the shims in the ring gear in the rear differential were bad. They fixed that. I didn't even get it off the lot, it was still making the same noise. It was a U joint, so they fixed this. I spent $2000 in repairs on this vehicle between oil changes and now it drives rough. We had the second vehicle in also during this time, one of the tires started separating. They told us it was out of alignment. We purchased a new tire from them. This vehicle started pulling to the passenger side within a couple of weeks. We took it back to them to check the alignment. They told us the alignment was good, that the "OFF" tire they sold us previously was causing the problem. WHY DID THEY SELL US A NEW TIRE IF IT WOULD NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. They said we needed new tires at this point. We took the second vehicle to a certified shop and had it fixed right the first time

I'll never car shop anywhere else again!

After much internet and actual vehicle shopping, I went to Hunzeker Ford in Preston Idaho. Not only were they honest and fair with me but I got the exact vehicle, a Ford Fusion, for less than anywhere else. This entire dealership bent over backwards to make sure all of my needs were met and beyond the sale, they have made sure I was still happy. Great Dealer

I have purchased several trucks from Hunzeker's their attention to detail is Superior to others Dealers I have dealt with in the past.
