    I am extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with Seelye Ford in kalamazoo. I bought a 2008 chevy Silverado WT in April of this year and by June the problems... started. I bought this for my business and had high hopes! I had a leaking fuel pump and a intermitted starting issue. I understand a used car is a used car but I anticipated it being at least a year before I had to do any work to this truck. I fixed the fuel pump but after taking this truck to 3 different mechanics and being stranded more times then I can count, I had to throw in the towel. Now mind you this is AFTER I bought a new GM key! (The truck came with 2 copies) and replacing the starter and countless fuses! All to no avail to fix this very pesky starting issue. I called Seelye and it was 125$ just for them to look at it, and honestly I was not willing to pay dealer prices after already putting so much money into this truck, the lady on the phone wouldn’t even let me talk to anyone without scheduling an appointment with a advisor. I spent 13K for this truck (paid it off within a month of purchasing) and over 1300$ in repairs within the first 6 months of buying this truck. This truck was from Canada (Quebec) and I recommend if a Carfax says the vehicle is from Canada to not purchase it. Many mechanics mentioned how hard the winters are on these vehicles and it creates problems. I’m assuming the starting issue was electrical with the computer and a very difficult diagnoses (evidently). The transfer case was also going out in this truck. This truck sat at the PAWPAW dealership for a couple months before being planted at Seelye Ford off Stadium and that should have been my red flag. A mechanic also pointed out to me that the driver side door was a different color than the rest of the truck. It had so much bondo in it, my business magnet would not stick to it. The dealer also “fixed” the rust on the rockers of this truck just enough where it didn’t start coming back through the black liner until about 3 months. I also was going to replace the fender trim around the tires but after taking one off (very tightly glued) I found a TON of rust behind the trim, so much so I could poke my finger though. I feel very taken advantage of honestly! I also agree with my mechanics in town, that are all very reputable/trustworthy mechanics, that this starting issue is not new and there was no way it just started happening shortly after me purchasing it with the amount of corrosion underneath the truck. I will NOT be buying any more vehicles from these bigger dealers. I lost about 8 THOUSAND DOLLARS after trade in because I couldn’t consciously sell this rolling ticking time bomb to another person.

    Have had to take my ford here twice and each time they got the problem fixed quick and easy. They were super friendly and I spoke directly with my service... advisor every time and he kept me in the loop.

    We had a wonderful experience shopping for our pre owned Jeep here! Scott Brockelbank was helpful, kind, honest, and treated my husband and I like family.... He went above and beyond to make our experience a good one. We will never go anywhere else to find a vehicle!

    This was my second purchase from the same salesman, at any car dealer ever, and was all because of Brian Borr that I will go back again, and again. He... made buying a vehicle easy ,and unstressful as I ever could hope for. I had many questions and they all got answered truthfully ,and that's what I like, anyone can tell you what you want to hear, but only a true professional tells it like it is, the truth! I will buy other cars and those purchases will be at seelye with Brian Borr as my salesman

    Seelyes internet sales person is a crook. He writes ads that bring you in ,then tells you he cant let you drive off lot with car or that it is being sold... for parts. Non of which is in the ads , then trys to up sell you to something you didnt come to buy, False advertising, dishonest sales....explains why used car people are thought of so lowly.

    Steve: We are sorry your experience with us did not meet your expectations. We do in fact have a lot with over 50 vehicles which we wholesale to the ...public. We do this as a courtesy since we understand not everyone can afford an expensive vehicle. For our protection and the protection of the buyer we explain very clearly how we are selling these vehicles for parts and why we do not register them for the client. These vehicles are designated to go to auction for various reasons if not first wholesaled to the public. We do not deem them road worthy or send them through service but instead leave this up to any potential client to decide with their mechanic if the vehicle they choose meets their criteria. We again, leave the decision up to the client whether or not to buy each and every unit on this wholesale lot. Unfortunately if we began to register these units and "retail" them the cost would increase substantially which would defeat the purpose of having them available as wholesale units to the public. Again, please accept our apologies for this program not being explained correctly. It has however helped thousands of people in the greater Kalamazoo area obtain transportation at a reasonable cost.     My son bought his first car this past January from Seelye and they found the perfect car for him. A few weeks ago he hit a deer and the car was totaled.... Khristian got the cars he was interested in testing out very quickly and then took us very smoothly through the loan process. Len helped us with the financing, claim info and pay offs as well as getting the refund for unused GAP and Warranty. My son is even happier about the new car but hopefully we wont have to be back a 3rd time any time soon for him.

    Jessica is the best! Jason did great getting us the best financing. Everyone was so polite. Offering drinks and snacks multiple times. Best part while... we waited, Christian worship music was playing in the background. I won’t go to any other dealership. Seelye Ford is my choice.
