While there was a bit of a delay in getting my vehicle custom built by Mercedes-Benz, you... and Michael were extremely helpful in providing updates on the ETA of the vehicle's arrival at the dealership. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience with all departments at the Mercedes-Benz of Novi dealership. I can proudly say that I am a happy repeat customer now, as my second experience with this dealership went extremely well.
After waiting 2 weeks for an appointment and confirming the day , time and services needed 2 days prior to my arrival with Vicky over the phone. The service... center decided to only complete 2 out of 3 of my requests after having my car for over 7 hours. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle after waiting on hold and not receiving a call back about its status I was told the car was complete and would be ready in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later I was signaled to sign paperwork and take my vehicle. When I noticed I was undercharged I questioned what work was not completed and why? After closer inspection of the paperwork I noticed it stated that "the customer requested to have wheel alignment completed on later date". This was not true! When I questioned them about why the paperwork was incorrect Mr. Macdonald switched topics and lied again, this time stating that I originally stated I was leaving the vehicle over night and since now I wanted to drive it home all repairs couldn't be made. The last insult after the injury came when Mr. Macdonald stated " since there is a recall on your vehicle dealing with the steering wheel the wheel alignment might of been free..so by waiting to have it done I was trying to save you money"... then he casually states "I can just bring it back another day". I informed him that my wife and I live in Detroit which is 30 minutes away from the dealership which is not open on the weekend and I valued our time way more than the 150.00 he claimed he was trying to save me!
The experience was great! I was a little surprised the service area is not up with the same standards at Lexus for customer comfort
Brought my 2016 MB Sprinter-based RV in for an airbag recall and left with significant back-end body damage caused by the service department. Apparently... the porter/technician backed my RV into another vehicle/object when they moved it in/out of the service bay and they claim NO RESPONSIBILITY. Somebody at the dealership is lying to cover their xxx and neither the Service manager Jon Atwell or the dealership owner Lee Ghesquiere are willing to do a xxxx thing about it. I gave them every opportunity to make this right but they refuse to admit fault and simply referred me to the fine print on the work estimate I signed that states they are not responsible for “parking lot damage”. If you value your hard-earned vehicle do yourself a favor and find another dealership to service it. Mercedes Benz of Novi are unethical, extremely unprofessional and have no regard for the personal property of others. What goes around comes around Mr. Ghesquiere!
