They lie about their prices online to get you to call in. OR, they only have those prices listed for people who LIVE IN THEIR ZIP CODE. AND WORK FOR... THE MANUFACTURE (RAM, DODGE) to get their employee discount, which they've already figured that price for you, even though you may not qualify. TERRIBLE WAY OF DOING BUSINESS.
If you are looking for the best car buying experience EVER, I suggest you get ahold of Chris Campbell from Szott Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM! I am a 61 year... old female buying a vehicle on my own for the first time ever. Chris made this transaction stress free and actually enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable and answered every question (and I had plenty) With patience and on a level I could understand! I will recommend Chris to all my friends! Thanks Chris!
I never thought car buying could be easy & painless. That is until I met Scott Myers at Szott M-59 Jeep. He listened to exactly what I was looking for... and was honest about what he could do for me. He did not try to sneak one over on me or put me into a vehicle I couldn’t really afford on my budget. He gave me a few options and discussed what my possibilities were and then he worked in my budget. This was the Best buying experience I have ever had. If you are shopping for a new car go see Scott!
Took the time to drive an hour to their dealership to inspect and test drive a 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat. The Sales person I set the appointment with... was polite and proper, no complaints from me in this regards. I was pretty quickly handed off to another Gentleman whom had the decision making authority. He talked up the dealership as we went back to the shop to look at the car. He explained to me that he was in preparation to leave town on a weekend vacation, using that car if it didn't sell today. Then proceeded to show me some dog kennel walls that was in the trunk. The shop was attempting to remove a flat black hood wrap that was on the pearl flake black paint. Fugly and for sure needed to go. I was never given the opportunity for a proper inspection, nor a test drive. Pretty much it went like; now you "see" it, ready to buy? I got the typical dealer speech of the price isn't negotiable which I've heard on my last 3 car purchases. The asking price was 47k. My offer was 48,500 O.T.D with a six month warranty required. More than generous offer for a vehicle they bought from auction and it has a trade in value of 36-39k. The offer was declined. Asking the dealership to stand behind their product with a short term guarantee was to much to ask. I left the dealership disappointed in my time spent and felt as if the person was more interested in using the car for the weekend verses making a reasonable sale. They had a few nice vehicles on their lot, but nothing unique from most other dealerships. I will add I was very disappointed in the upkeep of the used car sales showroom. Cluttered, water leakage issues and needed a good proper organized cleanup. Car.com asked for my review, there it is.
Purchased a car for $12,995, put $1,600 down. Was rushed to do paperwork because the drive to get there took a while and arrived near closing time. Didn’t... realize I signed paperwork with fees over $4,000!!! Had they told me these fees applied I would have never signed or bought the car for that price. Thanks guys... Be sure to check everything.
I inquired about a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on Wednesday after seeing it on Cars.com and began the buying process on Thursday. I am in KC this dealer is... in Detroit. I dealt with Robert Rapcka. He assured me they had experience with out of state purchases and actually preferred it because 'it was easy on them'. After all, Robert claimed, they were the largest Wrangler dealer in the nation and dealt in volume. He said the dealership had experience transporting vehicles, etc. I made an offer and Robert said he would get back to me. After hearing nothing I called Robert Friday morning and he said he didn't get a chance to call me and was going to call me after lunch and he would get back to me. I told him no problem but he went ahead and just told me they couldn't accept my offer. I said ok and provided a counter offer. Again, he'd check and get back to me. Again, no response so I called him back and he said he was too busy to present my offer and would get back to me in the morning (today). Surprisingly, he did call me to tell me the offer was again declined (which was only a few hundred under the asking price on the website) so I told him I'd pay the listed price. Robert agreed we had a deal and he committed to gathering the info we'd need to finalize the deal. Robert called me a couple hours later and told me the 'new car department' was going to sell the car so it was no longer available. I didn't have a good feeling about Robert or this dealership from the beginning, so perhaps this is for the best. I've purchased several cars (and four jeeps, including one from Arkansas on the same day, in a single day with three phone calls) and this is by far the worst experience you could imagine. Again, I don't feel as if this dealership and specifically Robert are trustworthy and I would definitely recommend you avoid this dealership.
It was a painless process in bringing my used car in and finding a newer used car to replace it. The entire thing was a good experience.
The car posted CARS.com was incorrect. The dealership did not even bother to explain why the false advertised the Chrysler Minivan. Dealership did not... follow up with my request.
Will not honor their own advertised price on cars.Com Salesman (name witheld) and new vehicle manager (name witheld) ran up purchase price of new Jeep... right on day of closing deal. Good luck to any buyer who goes there, sorry I did, will never happen again.May you fare better.
I drove passed several dealerships to get to this one. They had the car I wanted and Mark Ninomiya was superb from start to finish. I hadn't financed... a car in 20 years and didn't want to, but my circumstances made it inevitable. Mark made it painless, I got the car I wanted, a payment lower than expected, and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Mark and Szott M-59 Chrysler Jeep!!
