2017 GMC Acadia Denali AWD 3.6L

BEWARE - 2017 GMC Acadia Denali AWD - Purchased the new Acadia Denali in December and have had nothing but problems with it. As we continue to look online for possible updates/recalls, we're starting to come across other buyers reporting the same MAJOR issue described as a vibration at all speeds while maintaining a constant speed. Another review says it's just like the baffling sound you experience after you open one window in your SUV - It is beyond horrible! The dealership informed us that it was normal, and that it was caused by the TCC/transfer case clutch. OK, problem identified - can GMC come up with a fix? Beyond this ridiculous flaw, we've had issues with interior and exterior trim pieces, a squeaky second row chair, a rattle in the lift gate, rattle in rear view mirror, a high pitch squeal that comes on AFTER the car is turned off (it lasts from 30 seconds to 6 minutes - this dealership says it's normal, but GMC says it's not, so we're going to a different dealership for this repair), bottom line - after three previous service appointments for repairs, we are going to a different dealership for our remaining problems - not ALL on Lunghamer, but they represent GMC and the repair and support of GMC products. STAY AWAY FROM THE NEW ACADIA'S!

Saved thousands on a certified Buick Verano

I was searching for a certified vehicle that would cost less than $13K out the door. Most dealers could only show me a Chevy Cruze in that price range. I'm glad I made the drive to Waterford to meet with Gordie at Lunghamer. For the same price as a Chevy I had driven at another dealer, I drove off in a Buick with lots of upgrades. It was priced over $2,000 less than other Buicks in the area. Gordie took care of everything - including calling my insurance, getting me a title and more. No trip to the SOS necessary when you buy from them. They were busy and it took almost 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon to complete the deal. But it was worth it for the quality and price of the vehicle. If you have a chance to get a Buick, do it! The seats are so comfortable compared to other models and the quiet tuning makes a real difference on the expressway.

Great car selection; even better salesmen

Overall experience was smooth as can be! For a first time buyer they really helped walk me through my options, and the best part about it was; they didn't try to shove any products in my face. They were very patient with me and treated me like a friend rather than just another customer. Definitely recommend checking this place out and if you do, ask for Gordie, he's the one I have to thank for the car perfect for me.

AMAZING STAFF

"Big G" and Matt are amazing to work with. The process is usually so frustrating, but they answered all of my questions and were HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL AND INFORMATIVE.

Dealer markup?

Gordie was great, but I walked out of the dealership over the principle of the $398 "dealer markup" that was added to the worksheet. I can't think of another retailer that shows you a price tag for a product and then purports to add its own profit to the price afterward. In this case, the markup represented a 5% increase on the price of the vehicle, and I resented the addition of this surprise charge after I had driven a long way to see the car based on the advertised price. The sales manager refused to delete it, meaning that the price had increased 5% before I even had a chance to negotiate. I liked the car and the price and even the salesperson, but I hate surprises that cost me money. It's too bad dealership management had to act this way, undermining its own salespeople and giving itself and all dealerships a bad name.

GORDIE was the BEST!!!!

AWESOME experience. GORDIE was the best. This was my second time buying a car since 2012. I got a a deal on a 2016 Impala that I couldn't pass up. They got me approved right away and worked with me to get the best rate on my vehicle. I absolutely LOVE my new car. I will definitely be referring everyone to them.

Overall bad experience(s)

Absolutely the worst experience that I have had with a car dealer in almost 40 years of purchasing/leasing vehicles. My daughter was interested in leasing a GMC Terrain and I contacted Lunghamer via e-mail. After several back and forth e-mails a price was offered that was acceptable and me and my daughter went to test drive the car, appraise her trade in and finalize the deal. Much to our surprise the sales associate and sales manager left to talk and came back saying we were $1000 apart on the deal and wouldn't honor the commitment I received via e-mail. I should have walked. Instead, I asked to use one of the computers at the dealership, went on line to the GMC website, built and priced the exact same Terrain and low and behold the monthly payment that I had requested "magically" appeared. The sales staff and manager left and came back, stated they had made a mistake and agreed to the price/payment previously agreed to. We left the dealership with the new vehicle and a pretty bad taste in our mouth. I made the mistake of giving this dealership another chance about 2 years later and requested a quote on a vehicle listed on their website. After more than 2 days I finally received a quote that was about $100 a month higher than 2 other local dealers. Needless to say, I am done with Lunghamer GMC.

Sell out.. sold a truck after running our credit!

My son was financing his first vehicle. After our credit was ran and a appt was set..insurance on the vehicle and everything. We get there and they sold the vehicle right out from under us! Their explanation was " were in the business to make money" so with all that said these people are not your friends who they claim to be. Do not buy a car from this dealership. Their customer service ethics are crap! They should be ashamed
