DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR IN TO WAYLAND FORD DEALERSHIP!

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR IN TO WAYLAND FORD DEALERSHIP! Straight up liars trying to get your money for services you don’t need. Brought my car in for a xx $300 diagnostics and was told there was metal in my transmission fluid and I’d need a new torque converter. Quoted me $4800 to fix it. I decided for a second opinion. The next day my car was acting worse. Had someone else look at my transmission fluid to find that not only was there NO metal of any kind in it, Ford also did not put the plug back in correctly and it was leaking out. Which is why my car was suddenly worse. After fixing that (ended up just needing a fluid change for only $200) we went back to Ford with the issue of their false findings and almost killing my transmission completely, (even brought them a sample of the fluid we took) they had no apology and said they never said there was metal in the fluid. Even though it is literally typed up saying there is on the paper they gave me when I picked it up. Seriously. Crooks. Lesson learned the hard way.

Bought a f150 in August on the test drive I pointed out

Bought a f150 in August on the test drive I pointed out to the salesman John that the speedometer isn't moving but the rpms were high. I was assured all was good. LIES from the beginning! They say it was inspected in June.. ok then explain to me how mice built a huge nest around the engine in the summer if the truck was for sale being test drove! Brought it back they fixed the misfiring but gas mileage is never computing correctly, left blinker never stops, driver side window fell in the door. I only have one caliper & it's stuck. There's a wrench code that pops up and the truck will just shut off. Has happened 4 times! I bought this thing 10,000 over KBB, & a 4000 additional powertrain warranty. But nothings covered! There's no way in heck they inspected that truck! They took full advantage of my mother & I the very first time we go without my dad! My dad has bought over 10 vehicles from all three ford's and when he passed my mom & I went to wayland and were totally screwed. I know I should have done more research but I was at FORD! I shouldn't have been taken advantage of just because I was a little too eager & not very bright when it comes to buying a vehicle! Shame on everyone there from the salesman John to Harvey, Chris, Dana all at Wayland and boo to you Mitch at Greenville! There WAS no inspection and yall totally saw me coming and flipped that truck on me thinking I'm just a dumb blonde! Well this blonde has learned one thing and thats how to fight! I will not back down! You should all pray and ask for forgiveness on hurting the little people that have made you what you are!

Poor Service

I live in South Bend Indiana. Drove up to look at a 2011 F150 at Ed Koehn Ford. Nice truck but had an engine issue ran rough at highway speeds. I was told by my salesmen that it needed new spark plugs. I came back a few days later and they had changed the spark plugs. I bought the vehicle. on the way home I noticed the rear window slider did not work so I call my sales guy, Don, and he said they would fix it when I was back in the area. About 10 days later my Vaccuum system on brakes started to malfunction so I drove 2 hours back to the dealership to have the brakes fixed and fix the rear window repaired. I bought the Ford Premium warranty so they did provide a loaner vehicle. A day later the service manager Travis said there was not an issue with the brake system and it was functioning correctly. They tried to charge me for the rear window fix. I had to remind them the window was broken before I bought the truck. They finally agreed to pay for the rear window fix. I left the next day for Florida. On the way down, the truck brake pedal started getting soft and the truck idled rough and started to miss. I stopped by a great dealership in Bradenton Florida - AutoNation. They repaired the poor workmanship preform by Ed Koehn and said the the vacuum line was never reinstalled by Ed Koehn and the brake vacuum pump was indeed bad. I called Ed Koehn after the issue to see if they would pay my warranty deductible and the GM said he felt like the dealership in Florida was not being honest !!! Humm, its been running great since the dealer fixed it in Florida. Who's not being honest?

No wrench - can't fix recall during appointment?

My husband took a day off work for an appointment to do a recall on his Ford truck door locks. received a phone call at noon that they could not do it because they did not have the correct wrench. Called another dealer and they said they could do it and said my previous experience with this dealer " didn't sound right." Will not be back

Charged with no work done

I took my truck in for recall work and to have the front brakes looked at because they were getting very hot. When I got there I also decided to have them do an oil change with some cleaner additive. Went back to pick the truck up and the bill was not ready. So they quick wrote it up and it came to $73, it should have been about $140 with everything done. Made me question to make sure the right work was done. Guy behind the desk assured me it was. Got out the truck and the same old oil sticker was still on and oil life of 37%. They never touched my truck and ready to send me on my way.
